In the middle of a very wet week, we did have one lovely and dry afternoon, so we took the girls out on the deck so they could soak in some sun and breath a little fresh air.
They had great fun soaking and smelling.
Until it was time to come inside.
"Boo", says Bean. We like it out here.
yay for outdoor floof!
ReplyDeleteThe last picture of Ms. Bean is too precious for words -- I don't know how you do it Laurie, but your photographic timing is priceless. :)
ReplyDeleteYay for outdoor adventures. Wylla looks particularly floofalicious :D
ReplyDeleteAnd dear Charlene... so expressive :D
There's nothing like the breeze flowing through your floof, or so I'm told. What a couple of floofy beauties! :)
ReplyDeleteIs there anything better than Charlene's white toes? I think not.
ReplyDeleteWylla's little up-tail comes pretty close though.
Wylla is getting to be so big...which is good but I will be a little sad when she's all grown up and gone.
ReplyDeleteOH wee little Wylla & her turned-out front paws! And The Bean's displeasure. :D They are so cute together!!
ReplyDeleteLook at Wylla's excited little tail!
ReplyDeleteOH wee little Wylla & her turned-out front paws! And The Bean's displeasure. :D They are so cute together!!
ReplyDeleteStupid question: how do you keep them from running off outside? I have two indoor kitties and I would love to take them out sometimes, but I don't know what I would do if they made a run for it...!
ReplyDeleteIf your indoor kitties are like mine, they are pretty scared to be out in the great outdoors since they aren't used to it, and so don't like to stray out of sight.
DeleteOn another note, I do think Charlene is one of the most beautiful cats I've ever seen (don't tell my kitties that!)
The sides of the deck keep them corralled , and there's at least a five foot drop to the ground. It is hard to dart from there, and we keep a close watch.
DeleteHm...OK, next house will have a raised deck! :-)
DeleteScreened in porch works pretty well for kitties!
DeleteAw, they are too cute for words! Our deck just got covered with about 9 more inches of fresh snow. Boo! Maybe they would like to come frolic in that for a bit? I'd welcome them with open arms :)
ReplyDeleteI see Ms Bean is getting distinctly pear shaped. How adorable!
ReplyDeleteWylla may be getting bigger, but she still looks so teeny compared with Charlene. Although she certainly matches her floof for floof! It looks like they had a simply lovely time on the deck. Thanks so much for the adorable photos!
ReplyDeleteI love the last shot of the Bean. Charlene is adorable! (So is Wylla - of course!)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the pictures, they are two beautiful girls. Charlene is a stunning looking cat, her colours and her eyes, Wylla is a stunner too, goes without saying!!
ReplyDeleteThey are just too cute sitting there!!! =)
ReplyDeleteThat top picture is now my favorite of Wylla. She looks like a fluffy little teapot.
ReplyDeleteCharlene pouting is adorable.
They are both so sweet I just can't stand it :)!!!!! <3<3
ReplyDeleteThe Floof Sisters Frolic!! How freakin' adorable can they *get*???
ReplyDeleteWylla is getting a lesson in appreciating the Great Outdoors (from the safety of the deck with Mom around). Wylla is adorable, but Charlene is the Queen!
ReplyDeleteI am glad Ms Bean did not have another harrowing adventure. I still remember how hard I laughed at your story about her "less than graceful" trip down from the railing one day.
ReplyDeleteThe girls look great with their floof flying in the breeze.
Charlene has the prettiest legs in the business!
ReplyDeleteLovely to see little Wylla getting extra time with Charlene, getting tutored in the finer feline arts. And I think *someone* is getting the raspberry of disapproval...;)
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see Wylla, I just want to take her home. She has wiggled her way into my heart.
ReplyDeleteMe too Lynne - She is such a little cutie and one of the most floofiest kittens Ive ever seen!
DeleteProbably the cutest kitten I have ever seen. I wish I lived close enough to take her on, sadly England is a bit far for the little love to travel x
ReplyDeleteLove Wylla's stumpy little kitten proportions! I'm sure she's going to grow into a long, lovely beauty, just like Charlene.
ReplyDeleteHow has Wylla's eating been going? Is she still helping herself by 'standing' to eat?
ReplyDeleteI adore Miss Charlene's final two pix were perfect...especially her 'response' to Laurie's call of the indoors
Awww ~ lovely to see them enjoying themselves outside. Love that tongue of disapproval about coming inside again. xx
ReplyDeleteBean and Wylla's coloring is SO lovely side-by-side....
