Wylla's been growing and is getting much, much longer. The little stack of books and boxes I had set up as her "dining table"worked at first, but as she's gotten heavier, and the stack taller, her table just wasn't stable enough. I just happened to have this kitten-sized dining room set, and the little sideboard is the perfect height for her to stand and dine.
It works well, and she seems to enjoy eating in her private dining room.
They don't get any cuter than Wylla!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad she's getting better, she is just adorable. She will need a very special family and they will be rewarded well with kitty snuggles and love.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Who is this huge girl, and why are you calling her Wylla??
ReplyDeleteWylla, you make my heart go pitta-pat. You are a beauty, and I'm so glad to know you're getting better. I hope you'll soon be well enough to graduate and move in with your forever family, whoever that will be. They will be a super lucky family to have you as their own!
ReplyDeleteIt must be pretty awesome to live in a home where you just happened to have a kitten-sized dining room set. New life goal!
ReplyDeleteSusan, exactly what I was thinking. How many people "just happen to have kitten sized dining furniture" laying around. Yay for Laurie!
DeleteDitto! Absolutely splendid. :) :) :)
DeleteHoly cow - now that she's feeling better, she totally has the same crazy eyes as Audrey!
ReplyDeleteThose eyes..... <3
ReplyDeleteOkay I admit it... I have been totally in love with Wylla since the first time I laid eyes on her. And of course you have a kitten sized dinning room set. OF course LOL!
ReplyDeleteShe is a beauty, and you are an angel for not giving up on her as others might have! She's in the best possible place.
ReplyDeleteSO much better than having doll house furniture, it comes with a poofy kitten!
ReplyDeleteNow Wylla, please sit *at* the table, not *on* it, like a good little girl
ReplyDeleteI was just think... how confused will she be when she grows up and gets reprimanded for sitting ON the table!? :)
DeleteJust when you think you've seen the cutest thing that exists, Laurie posts photos like these! I don't see how anything could get cuter than Miss Wylla enjoying her private dining room.
ReplyDeleteI'm DYING over here from all that cute!!!
ReplyDeleteI know, I KNOW you say the kittens go to where they are supposed to be, but of all the itty bitties to have graced your (our) lives, I wish more than ever that Wylla was already in her furever home. I am so in love with her.
ReplyDeleteDitto. Never has there been a more perfect apprentice Bean.
DeleteMe too! Wylla and Bean seem perfect together.
DeleteHow precious! I'm so glad that she's growing and getting healthier. =^..^=
ReplyDeleteNow that is just too cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest thing ever!? I can't believe you found Wylla her own dining room set. I may expire from the cute. Again. :) She looks great!
ReplyDeleteAnd it was just "around the house"....how awesome is that?
DeleteWho else but Laurie would have such cuteness 'around the house'???
DeleteWylla is looking very good and may have a lifelong requirement (whether it is a necessity or not...) to have a little bar to eat from.
Will the dining set (or at least the one piece) have to go with her, when she gets adopted? :)
ReplyDeleteProbably not - most likely she will outgrow it by then.
DeleteFast forward two-and-a-half years and...she's still with that dining set! : )
DeleteHold me closer, tiny diner.... (am I the only one who thought of that?)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, though, dying from the cute.
You are not alone kittnen =) and the words fit Wylla:
DeletePretty eyed, pirate smile, you'll adopt a music man.
Ballerina, you must have seen her dancing in the sand.
And now she's in me, always with me, tiny diner in my hand
'Dancing in the sand' - litter box pirouettes? ;)
DeleteCutest thing ever! And like most cats, she just has to sit ON the table!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! Not only is that sideboard the perfect height for Miss Wylla, but it's even got the perfect spot for her to rest her front paws while having her food at exactly the right level! Laurie, you are a genius. And Wylla, you are growing into the most adorable floofy little girl ever!
ReplyDeleteYour kitties are so lucky to have you.
ReplyDeleteWow, that sideboard is the perfect dining table for her - she even has a spot to comfortably place her paws while she's eating.
ReplyDeleteNothing would make us happier than to see Wylla outgrow everything!! Keep sprouting, Wylla!
ReplyDeleteThe hutch even has a shelf for her feet! How cute...and practical!
ReplyDeleteWylla's story is heartwarming, for such a small and sweet kitten to have a challenging life already. Please hang in there Wylla. You are in our hearts and prayers, you too Laurie.
ReplyDeleteEmma and Buster
How adorable! Are you hunting a bigger set for her :)
ReplyDeleteWell, that just killed me DEAD!
ReplyDelete(@kittnen - No, I thought that too!)
That's adorable. I hope Wyla's forever home will invest in a proper-sized dining set for her when she grows up!
ReplyDeleteEvery kitten that you foster has hit the jackpot. Wylla seems to have hit it twice. I think it's great that you're doing so much for her.
ReplyDeleteI think it will be hard to beat these pictures! I noticed how Miss Wylla's tail looks longer too. She is a beauty for sure - Thank you for caring so much for this sweet and special kitten :)
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest thing, ever!!
ReplyDeleteIt's over for me. I'm perished. The cuteness has overloaded my circuits. Seriously. All I can do is babble.
ReplyDeleteShe's looking marvelously healthy now -- and I hope feeling even better. Thanks for taking such care of this special girl, Laurie!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Vivocat. I've been killed with cuteness. seriously...
ReplyDeleteWylla has excellent taste in dining room furniture!
ReplyDeleteomc - kill me with the cute.... :)
ReplyDeleteI love the expression on her face as she turns around. It looks so like a celebrity trying to have a quiet dinner but there go the paparazzi taking photos. :-)
ReplyDeleteYay, Wylla! You go, girl!
ReplyDeleteI swear, Wylla is the most photogenic kitten I have seen in quite some time! She's absolutely stunning! And I just can't take my eyes off of her eyes. Captivating! So expressive, and her slightly rumpled fur adds just the right touch! I love this baby!
ReplyDeleteAw, that's adorable! What a sweet little private dining room she has!
ReplyDeleteOnly Laurie could say "I just happened to have this kitten-sized dining set..."
ReplyDeleteAnd it is being put to wonderful use! Wylla is beautiful. I hope the issue is resolving. with your tender care, Laurie.
OMG that is so adorable! [thud]
ReplyDeleteWe have seen some of Wylla's dining room before ;)

Too cute for words
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful!! I'm so glad she's doing well.
ReplyDeleteADORABLE! I'm glad you're both getting a handle on Wylla's condition and she continues to grow.
ReplyDeleteEverything about this girl is adorable--love Wylla in her little kittie kitchen. I am so glad she's putting on weight and growing. Please give her little nose a kiss from me
