Well she can finally really relax - no more making sure she looked all "floofy" and "super cute" at every moment in case a picture was taken. After all, she was hunting a forever home and couldn't let some less than perfect picture scare off her possible forever home. Of course, at the same time she was working Foster Mom Laurie to drop the Foster and just go by Mom. This hard work wears a wee kitten out.
Probably so Cherie, but no matter her floof situation, Wylla had the talent to look absolutely perfect in every picture Laurie has taken of her! Perfect never looked so good! :-)
All cats are legally required to conduct mischief at least 40 hours/week. However they do have a flexible schedule, so that is why they do most of their craziness at 3 am.
Gods she's gorgeous. @ SC Amy - i initially read your post to mean you had a couch in your laundry and was SO jealous. I was imagining a glamorous chaise longue style...hehe
Well, Wylla's intelligence has already been established (choosing to be fostered by team IBKC, winning your hearts and minds, etc.) so it shouldn't come as a huge surprise that she so quickly grasped the concept of the three-day weekend, should it? Brilliant little floofball.
Wylla looks as beautiful as ever, but am I the only one who doesn't see "relaxing" in this pic? I see the classic crazypants-kitten glint in her eye, like she's about to pounce on that invisible bug in front of her.
I have to tell you when I saw pictures of Willa and Charlene together I was a bit worried for Charlene if Willa found a new home. I know how good she is with all the kittens but this relationship seemed different some how. I said a little prayer asking that Charlene would not have to lose this "special" little friend. The He would make a way. I cried when I read your post. Prayer answered I know that Charlene will continue to be a loving example for all the kitties that come and go through your doors. But what a blessing for her that Willa will be there for her when they do. Thanks from me and tnanks too from Willa and Charlene I am sure. Sallyann
Awww - Wanna gently stroke her floof!

ReplyDeleteMy four agree with you, Miss Wylla! I'm even joining them on the couch in between laundry loads. :)

ReplyDeleteThat's how the term "catnap" got invented, on three day weekends.

Ha! I wish I did, but alas, the most glamorous thing in the laundry closet is the cat food (according to my crew)! ;)
