Oh, that wee nose and those precious toes! So adorable!
And since you all are lovely people, could you please send good wishes our way? Emily, our 17-year-old tortie, snuck out Sunday evening and hasn't been seen since. She's a very smart and self-sufficient kitty, but after 3 nights I'm really getting worried about her. Any good wishes for her speedy return would be greatly appreciated!
If it might work, set out a tin of something succulent (tuna?); please also know that prayers are being sent up on incense for her safe and quick return.
Good thoughts & wishes to you...I've been in your position & going out walking the neighborhood (which you are probably doing anyway) at all hours finally turned up the little devil. It took nearly 4 days. xoxoxo
I've been there...for four days. You're probably already doing this but going out and walking the neighborhood, at all hours (ugh), finally turned up the little devil. He was afraid & hiding in a bush. That I (& my sister & many neighbors) walked by at least eleventy-billion times. Seriously. Finally, late at night, we heard a peep.
Sending out my best kitty telepathic thoughts to Emily now. Not that Emily couldn't/wouldn't show up sooner, but my sister-in-law's kitty once disappeared for 40 days and 40 nights (seriously). If only kitties could talk. She no doubt would have had some excellent tales to tell upon her return.
Thinking good thoughts and saying prayers - I have an 18 year old Tortie and I know how crafty they can be. (((((((hugs to you)))))) Get on home now, Emily!!!!
Have you googled displaced cat behavior? If unaccustomed to being out they find shelter and freeze. This makes it really hard to find them. But this helped my find my 10 yr old tortie that escaped and got lost...for days...about 20 feet from our house. Keep looking, keep up hope.
I love the last picture. It reminds me of my cat Sarge who would often reach out with his right front paw just to touch me so he knows I'm there. It will be one year this Saturday since I helped him go to the Bridge due to cancer and I still miss him.
OK, I hope I am not the only one that thought, after the last picture, "Where are the other toesies? We saw all the nosies, but not all the toesies!" This blog regresses me to about 6 years old!

DeleteAll those little patches of colour add up to a bonnie little lass.
ReplyDeleteThat last picture looks like it would make a FAB card! And them teeny tiny toe hawks are yummy.
ReplyDeleteAwww Wylla... you sure are a darling.
ReplyDeleteLoving those marble toes!!
ReplyDeleteYep! Mama loves her wee Wylla!
ReplyDeleteWylla you are cute all over!
ReplyDeleteLaurie is clearly head over heels for her baby Wylla--or should that be "toe-beans over ear floof?"
ReplyDeleteI could look at cat paws all the livelong day.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I wanted to get a better look at her nose.
ReplyDeleteI would take a nose-noodge from that little sweetie any morning (don't tell Little Guy).
ReplyDeleteSimply precious!

DeleteLaurie, you are trying to kill us! :D
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love picture #3-- that is one gentle & relaxed sweet little paw!
Wylla is amazing. She reminds me soooo much of my dear departed Chloe, who I should post pics of... >^..^<
I love how the pink and black just kind of merge, like someone was pouring different flavored cake mix in one pan. But she's sweeter than cake!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE kitty toes especially fuzzy ones!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww! You and Wylla are holding hands!
ReplyDelete:o)
