When my angel-kitty Tigger was a baby, my oldest cat at the time Butterscotch pinned him down and licked every hair on that baby's head in the wrong direction. Tigg was SO proud that he was loved.....he pranced away like he had won a prize and I almost fell off the couch laughing. :) Good job Bean!!
That's so funny! Little Wylla looks a little unsure of her new 'do, too. Bean was just trying out a little something new, no need to get in a styling rut!
Oh my, I agree with everyone above. This post truly did make me laugh out loud! Your days must be filled with lots of giggles with those two beauties! Maybe one day Wylla will return the "favor" on Miss Bean!
Clearly Bean is enjoying playing hairdresser with Wylla. And why shouldn't she? All that floof just begs for some styling! :)
Thanks for all the good thoughts about Emily, folks. Still no sign of her, but I have NOT given up hope, by a long shot. She'll come home eventually, and you will be the first people I tell! (Well, the second after my daughter, but you know what I mean.) This is such a great community Laurie has created!
Mini and I are still thinking of you and Emily -- keep us posted. I'm sure she'll be home soon, and then you can give her the "You gave me a heart attack, young lady!" speech (I have given this speech before) :)
Virtually every single post made me laugh out loud- well, actually it all started with the pictures. That is so funny and cute. Wylla is going to be quite the beautiful adult cat- her face is all ready getting mature. I love her. But you knew that.
I have a question about Wylla. Is she like most four- or five-month-old kittens -- does she race around like a crazy cat and play, play, play? Or is she more laid-back and grown-up?
Best thing of all is knowing that Bean and Wylla are now sisters forever!! I'm so happy for everyone in the family :) and for those of us in the IBKC family who will get to watch these girls together for a long time to come!
I think that furstyle is a little too 'punk rock' for Wylla Wonkypants but I'm sure within 2 mintues of drying she was back to her usual FLOOFTASTIC self. :D
Big sisters everywhere are snickering at this lovely hair-do by Charlene. Little sisters everywhere are just sighing and putting up with it. Me? Laughing my butt off!
MOL. Looks like Bean used a little too much "product" on poor Wylla.
ReplyDeleteChild, you've been BEANED! But if anyone can pull off the look, it's you. :-)
ReplyDeleteTina & The Kittyboyz
Charlene is getting mighty experimental with her Wylla hairdos!

ReplyDeleteSweet little Wylla looks a bit sheepish in the first 2 pictures! And resigned in the last one! So adorable.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of those posts that made me laugh out loud.
ReplyDeleteOH! Hahahaha - thanks for the laughs, Laurie. That is absolutely darling!
ReplyDeleteLOL - I love the look on Wylla's face. She looks not too sure about this new look! :D
ReplyDeleteCoiffed by Bean
ReplyDeleteI never pictured the Bean as a punk wannabe, but I love what she's done to Wylla's hair!
ReplyDeleteoh Wylla, every girl has a bad day with their stylist now and again. Bean will do better next time, no doubt...
ReplyDeleteThat's a big sister, for you!

ReplyDeleteI think Wylla is happy to indulge her sisfur, even if she does sometimes overdo the trendiness.

ReplyDeleteThe look on Wylla's face is like, Mom -- Help, I look like a punk rocker !!
ReplyDeleteThis is amazingly adorable. Charlene is just like all big sisters, using new new little sister as a dress-up doll!
ReplyDeleteEven Wylla looks like she's not sure about the look.. At least it's not permanent. :)
ReplyDeleteOooo Spikey! Cute, but you're right, it doesn't quite fit.
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! Too good. Love the second picture
ReplyDelete[me, reading and scrolling] OMG! LOL! Look at that face! LOL!
ReplyDeleteShe does look rather punk. Well, if anyone can pull off a unique look, it's wee Wylla.
I adore all of these grooming photos. Keep 'em coming please!
ReplyDeleteThat is tooo cute : ) Wylla looked like she enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what the style, Bean manages to make Wylla oh so adorable! And she's getting quite creative!

ReplyDeleteShe has her rowdy moments, but she's pretty mellow for a kitten.

ReplyDeleteSo Laurie, are there any updates on Miss W.'s gastric issues?
ReplyDeleteNothing to report, really. Nothing's changed.
DeleteHOUSE OF FLOOF
ReplyDeletelook how grown she's getting, her nose is getting longer. Such a dear one.Love seeing pics of her.
ReplyDeleteNo matter what her style, Wylla is still adorabobble.
ReplyDeleteSO sweet! <3
ReplyDeleteLook at her face! She's becoming such a beauty :)
ReplyDeleteI think Charlene is a frustrated hair stylist at heart, and you gave her the perfect client! So CUTE together!
ReplyDeleteLOL @ "Child, you've been BEANED!"

ReplyDeleteWho knows, she may grow up loving punk rock and wanting a piercing.
