ReplyDeleteI like that any names of cats are just stated, but if any humans are mentioned in the IBKC, we have to specify that they're humans. It's like a parallel universe for cats! :)

DeleteSenior cat day is always the most poignant for me. Virtually every post makes me wish I could hug the person who has loved their present and past senior kitties - we all know that we honor our past kitties by getting a new kitty to love. But you feel how much they loved them. It is very sweet. Hugs to all the donors today who give in memory of their companions. And a big hug for Laurie, too.

ReplyDeleteMy Baal (16) and Boo (21) saw me through the best and worst milestones of my life and were the purest forms of love I have known! :') My current crew have big paws to fill!
If Anonymous hadn't pointed out the $200,000 total for all the fund-raising I would have missed it when I donated. Congratulations indeed! Charlene and Wylla should get extra massages along with the treats!

We are at this moment pushing a quarter-million. If you add the totals of her Monday email, that was $224,000. Add in today's and we're looking at a $250,000 in the next day or two! All for cats!
Yes, that number is off. It doesn't factor in the money raised off-line with our auctions and poster sales. We're around 244K right now.
