She tried to play a little later that day, but mostly she just slumped about the house - wanting to be near us, but not having the energy to really interact.
She woke me with her purrs this morning, and it seems she's feeling better today. She's not 100%, but improving, for sure.

ReplyDeleteSorry that you're feeling less than 100%, Wylla. The post-snip period is hard. My own kitty wore the crankypants a full day and a half after her operation, but then she felt great and was back to jumping on the kitchen counter (the one place she is not allowed to go!). xoxo wee one

ReplyDeleteEven when she is not at 100%, she is still one of the most beautiful kittens ever! You've got quite a pair with those two. I admire the gentleness of Bean so much. My daughter brought her two kitties home from college and our 17 year old cat keeps stalking the baby one and is being very territorial. Poor baby can't even walk by without being hissed at and chased. I would do anything if our cat had Bean's maternal instinct!
ReplyDeleteOh, poor sweet baby. Agreed on the pupils in that last pic. Just a thought - maybe vets could give kit-kats those little folding sunglasses like we humans get after eye exams. Wylla would look tres chic in them, of course. Perhaps with a little scarf as well. Feel better, little kitten. We know you're in good hands, and paws.

ReplyDeleteAfter India's spay, I slept next to her on the sofa for 2 nights. (She had a collar and wouldn't stay still because they took out a lump on her leg at the same time). She would sleep with her face in my hand. Thank goodness Wylla doesn't have that awful collar! Bean is doing a great job!
