Traveling with Wylla is so easy - she never minds being in the car, in her carrier, on her harness, or being carried around. She's always calm and never seems to mind meeting new people or having new experiences. Her feeding routine makes it hard to leave her home alone, so I'm grateful she's so portable. It makes life easier.
This weekend, we traveled with Wylla to Roslyn, Wa for the Vintage Camper Rally. We met up with our dear friends Katy and Jerry and had fun touring the trailers, hanging out at their site, and picnicking. We even walked to downtown Roslyn and did a little antique shopping too. She was such a good little kitten, she made a really fun trip even more enjoyable.
Here are a few highlights from the day...

ReplyDeletePlease let me know where I can acquire my very own ultra-portable take-anywhere kitten!
ReplyDeleteI need one of those, too! And one as cute as Wylla would be extra great.
Deleteoh, me three!
DeleteOMG--I love that she's harness trained. What a good lil' kitty.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness gracious. What a story. I am smiling with glee. SUCH a kitten.
ReplyDeleteShe really is a one-of-a-kind kitten, isn't she? Such a sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteShe is so adorable! Thank you for all that you do to help these itty bitty kitties!
ReplyDeleteThe camera is in love with Wylla Stout!! Seems like she is just as sweet and cute as she is pretty!
ReplyDeleteMother Wylla loved a great road trip, too! Wylla Stout is so, so, so spectacular!
ReplyDeleteIt is quite something that they have things in common. It sounds like your mother's name went to just the right kitten. It's heartwarming, and I'm glad we've been able to learn a little bit about your mom. :)
DeleteOh the stories she must have shared with her big sis when she was home again! What a special treat for such a special kitty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a good, darling girl! I bet she was the hit of the meet up.
ReplyDeleteStart a kitten early with a harness and car rides and you too can hit the road together! Like the trailer! And Wylla is looking mighty fine!
ReplyDeleteWee Miss Wylla is so sweet and her confidence is growing in leaps and bounds.
ReplyDeleteHer portable dinette is awesome!
I love this! I have often wished that I could take one of my cats camping with me, but even my laid-back black kitty wouldn't go for it. Wylla makes me smile.
ReplyDeleteAck- those green saucer eyes! Such an amazing kitty!
ReplyDeleteThey call her the wanderer
ReplyDeleteWylla the Wanderer
She roams around, around, around...
:)
A Kamping Kitty !!!
ReplyDeleteplus you get all sorts of attention for having the adorable kitten on a harness and leash! what fun....
ReplyDeleteGah! I just fell in love with Wylla all over again! How many times a day do you feed her? I'm sure that more frequent, small meals are probably better for her.
ReplyDeleteUsually four times.
DeleteI'm getting concerned for the Bean. She hasn't been spoken about much at all since Wylla moved in. Please feature the Bean as well with or without Wylla. She's such a precious girl, too.

DeleteOh my. I think she's going to turn into a little princess. Soon she'll want to be carried around in a little kitty purse.
ReplyDeleteI do like the prospective the cooler gives as how high Wylla has to stretch to get to her food. She's getting so tall.
I love Wylla. That is all.
ReplyDeleteCute story and photos. Wylla is a doll.
ReplyDeleteWee Wylla, world traveler! So glad she stayed with you and we get to peek into her world.
ReplyDeleteNice of you to give her a soda with her lunch.. :)
ReplyDeleteI love Roslyn! If I had gotten to see Roslyn and Wylla at the same time I think I would have gone woosh to nirvana!
ReplyDeleteIf she's such a good traveller, does that mean she gets to go to Iowa with you to visit your parents and her kitty aunt and uncle? Those pictures would need a warning label, they would be so lethally cute!
ReplyDeleteNo plans for a cross-country road trip at this point.
DeleteOh how I want to be a Wylla shoulder perch!
ReplyDeleteSo do I! Perhaps you could auction off a few perch opportunities, Laurie.
Deleteoh how lucky you are to have wylla - and vice versa! the perfect match. she looks so self-confident and comfortable. adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE the camper! Wylla makes it a "glamper" (glamour + camper).
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful Wylla is a great traveler. She's sure to make friends wherever she goes.
ReplyDeleteHow do you get her to eat standing up? Wouldn't she just normally want to jump up on the makeshift dinette? Or is it that she's just used to eating that way? She's so adorable!
ReplyDeleteThat's how she learned to eat, so that's what she does.
