Craig was packing his bags for a weekend trip, and like she does every time the suitcases come out, Charlene climbed in.
I don't think she wanted to go with, she just wanted to remind him of who he's leaving behind.
This was Wylla's first encounter with a suitcase, so naturally she was quite curious about it, and wanted to climb inside too.
At first, Charlene didn't want to share.
But eventually she gave in and made room for Wylla.

Is there room for me in there? I would love nothing better than to be the third participant in that suitcase-o'-cats.
ReplyDeleteOMG! So darned cute! <3 <3
ReplyDeleteSo cute. There have been times in the past when coming home for Thanksgiving or Xmas when I've had to send a pic to my mom of my cat in the suitcase, explaining that he doesn't want me to leave, and that's why I'm going to be late.
ReplyDeleteI see a sense of peace and love on Charlene's face- not to mention the perfection of my wonderful kitty friend, Wylla! My daughter finally gave in and made her cats a bed out of an actual suitcase.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to make room for those huge eyeballs! :D
ReplyDeleteYes indeed! Lol
DeleteAwww, sweet, floofy girls.
ReplyDeleteLG once attacked our suitcase after we returned from a Thanksgiving trip. I think he smelled one of my MIL's cats, which had been taking naps in the suitcase during our trip. He really gave that suitcase what for!
He does sense that something's up when he sees the suitcase. At least it doesn't scare him, as happens when he sees me carrying the plastic laundry basket downstairs. Evidently it reminds him of his carrier. :-(
Craig's got a lot of nerve, thinking he can pack a suitcase and LEAVE those two pretties! Sheesh!
ReplyDeleteI know, how awful of Craig to leave!
DeleteSheesh indeed...the NERVE!
DeleteI just love the way Wylla has to do *everything* her big sister does. Clearly, she's still learning at the Miss Charlene's Kitten Finishing School -- she's taking the Advanced Graduate Curriculum!
ReplyDeleteDon't know which cracked me up more - Charlene's Grumpy Face or Wylla's Perpetual Look of Bewilderment!
ReplyDeleteI literally just giggled out loud at my desk at work. woops! those two sillies just made my Monday.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I'd so want to close that case and take them wherever I went!
ReplyDeleteHee hee - looks like Wylla's taking lessons in Disapproving Cat Glare from Bean. I think she's got it nailed in pictures 8-10. The perfect "I am NOT impressed with this leaving business" face.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture with just the tops of their little heads peeking out (6th from the bottom)!
ReplyDeleteThey want to ensure there is enough cat fur on the clothes to last the whole trip. Running out would be such a tragedy!
ReplyDeleteah...just put them in a fedex envelope and send them over here.
ReplyDeleteI like seeing Wylla's wide-open eyes slowly relax...she's so hilariously serious! My kitties are also huge suitcase fans. And expert guilt-inducers.
ReplyDeleteAwww! That's so sweet! I'm glad to see that I am not the only person who travels with cat hair on their suitcase. I'm just happy that none of the security dogs sniffing at the airports haven't decided to turn me in for spite! :)
ReplyDeleteAt my house, we call that behaviour guarding the suitcase. Craig must have some valuable stuff (besides the girls) in there.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky. The last time I left a suitcase out before a trip I was "gifted" with a very unpleasant surprise that belonged in a litterbox, not a suitcase.
ReplyDeleteShe blinked! Wylla blinked!
ReplyDeleteTina & The Kittyboyz
And she's SO adorable sleeping!
Deletetoo cute....just in case Craig isn't sure what he is going to be missing :)
ReplyDeleteOh lord but those girls are gorgeous
ReplyDeleteHee Hee! We take turns in Mom's suitcase. We don't play well in tight spaces.
ReplyDeleteWylla sure looks startled\confused in this series, especially since Charlene looks just a wee bit peeved that Wylla intruded on her moment with Dad's stuff.
ReplyDeleteThen she realized it was a teachable moment - a module called 'Sleeping in suitcases'
Wylla: "Dad! Dad! Can I go too??? Dad! I want to go!! Dad!!"
ReplyDeleteI get the same thing every week when I pack mine for yet another business trip.. mine probably hope that I won't see them in there and take them along. Wish i could...
I like the timeout pillow in #3.
ReplyDeleteThis is just the sweetest sequence!! They are so synchronized.
ReplyDeleteI saw this new Simon's Cat video and immediately thought of this post.
