My dad had kitty allergies. It never stopped him from coming over to visit our crew, never complained about sneezing or eyes that would water! Aren't parents great? :)
Best portrait ever! Mr. and Mrs. Laurie's-Parents, I thank you, now and in advance of the future, for raising a daughter who is - one of the rare Chosen Ones of Bast. All of us who adore our kitties and all kitties applaud her. Thank you, Parents. Good job.
I'll bet Wylla will miss the Kitten Whisperers as much as they'll miss her. I don't blame you for checking to make sure she and the Bean were still at home when they left -- even with the lovely Frosts at home, I wouldn't blame them for sneaking off with either one of your beauties!
Ha, forget the bags, purse and pockets! I see your dad wore a shirt with Wylla's coloring in a futile attempt to smuggle her out on his *shoulder*!! Does that man have no shame?!?! Kudos to Mom for her great jacket.
Beautiful! Treasure these times. Makes me miss my mom and dad so much :)
ReplyDeleteMy mom was also a kitten whisperer, and her lap was the seat of choice for many a cat. I aspire to that, some day...

DeleteMiss Wylla will miss them, too.

ReplyDeleteI like Wylla's face of But, but, but...can't I keep them?! Plizzz
ReplyDeleteThat is a very sweet picture.
ReplyDeleteShe could totally fit in a pocket! ...if it weren't for those huge eyeballs! :D

Good idea to check for stashed cats. Wylla would be easy to sneak off with, and we all know she loves to travel. ;)
ReplyDeleteParting is such sweet sorrow... I am sure they are all already looking forward to the next visit.
ReplyDeleteWill Wylla get to visit Nigel and Mimsey Frost some time? That could be a cute encounter!
Yes! A plane flight would be easy-peasy to Miss Wylla and I bet she would love to visit her "aunt and uncle" and see her grandparents in Iowa.
ReplyDeleteGAH... who took care of the fluffballs back in IOWA??
ReplyDeleteBeautiful family :)
ReplyDeleteYour parents are wonderful souls....they have a beautiful energy and obviously it was passed down to their amazing daughter!

ReplyDeleteOh what an adorable picture. That cat is so cute on their shoulder!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet portrait of Wylla and her Grands. Such a loving picture.
