When she's all sprawled out like this, Bean looks MUCH wider that she actually is. In fact in recent days, thanks to all the exercise she gets chasing Wylla around, she's dropped a few ounces.
So yes, these photos aren't the most flattering shots of our girl, but she's so dang cute in them, I had to share.
I'm sorry, Bean. I knew your adoring fans would want to see them. Don't worry, we all know you look extra-floofy when you're flopping.
Charlene, you are beautiful no matter how you are flopped!
ReplyDeleteHehe, oh Bean! We have a big ol' tabby cat named Baron, and when he does this we call it "schlumping", particularly when he's like Bean in the first few photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat at perfect (purr-fect) word, Schlumping!!
DeleteHaha, that last picture is the best! She's like "really?". It's ok, Charlene, my tuxie does this all the time.
ReplyDeleteShe looks so silky soft and huggable!
ReplyDeleteI see that the weather must be warm, since flat cat syndrome seems to be spreading.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! And she DOES look oh so huggable!

My cat Oreo is like this. He is very skinny when walking around but once he lays down the looks so fat. Love these pics of Bean.
ReplyDeleteThat happens with LG as well, but he doesn't have the "floofy" excuse. Charlene is lovely and Rubenesque. :-)
DeleteCharlene you look beautiful and plush and it's good to see you. Don't think that we have forgotten you just because there is a new baby in the house!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing! We love our Butterbean!
DeleteShe is just one beautiful cat really striking, I have never seen a cat like Bean. I LOVE picture 1, the paw fur!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI ment to say ITS GREAT TO SEE YOU BEAN
ReplyDeleteShe's always beautiful, and these pics are so cute!! I've been enjoying the Wylla posts to no end, but I must confess I've been jonesing for some Charlene Butterbean! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice bed frame. I inherited one sort of like that from my grandfather except mine is square, but it's the same color of wood. My cats love to sit on it (and under it) as well. But they don't do the cute pose like Beany.
ReplyDeleteBean - you are always beautiful no matter how flopped out you are. I'm jealous that I can't be flopped out right now. IT's hot here in Wisconsin!
ReplyDeleteFloppy floofy Bean is the best!
ReplyDeleteThose ear tufts!
ReplyDeleteLove those adorable white gloves! Those beautiful blue eyes! And the floof! Gotta love the floof! Our Maine Coons are also sprawling, looking very wide and floofy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Beanie!
I ♥ Bean. xoxo
ReplyDeleteDitto Anne-- the PAW FUR in pic #1 !!!!
ReplyDeletewhat a sweetie! I heart floppy floofy cats! <3
she is so adorable. i too heart bean.
ReplyDeleteemma and buster
Clearly Bean has sprawling down to a fine art. :)
ReplyDeleteBean never looks anything but gorgeous and cute. I don't know if it's possible for her to look any other way.
ReplyDeleteBean you are a beautiful floppy girl! Wylla is doing wonders for you :) She looks as comfortable as our tuxedo kitty does when he flops on the arm of the chair with one arm on each side! Too cute!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna use the floofy-when-I flop excuse for myself someday...
ReplyDeleteShe is soooo beautiful. Flop and floof and all.
ReplyDeleteLovely kitty role model! I love see how boneless felines can seem as we gaze upon them!
ReplyDeleteI just love seeing the excellent inter-digitable floof that Charlene sports. I'm glad to see she's airing out those beauteeeful toes-es!!
ReplyDeleteI love it! Sometimes the more unflattering pictures are the best! (At least for animals! ;)
