And Now That Santa Has Come and Gone...

They can be naughty once again.

Charlene, Mom said I could nap in the basket when we were done opening presents.

  1. Poor Wylla. Her Paw of Doom is not nearly as imposing as Charlene's.

  2. Laurie, did the Kitten Whisperer (and Mrs. Whisperer) come to visit? Pictures, please! :-)

  3. Wylla has great spirit! She's not intimidated by Charlene's size at all.

  4. It looks like kitties, just like children, get out of sorts by the time the holiday excitement has worn them out.

  5. Easy solution, Mom - time to get a second basket. Or - just enjoy that they're paying homage to our dear Drewey of blessed memory and "embracing their inner cranks"!

    1. I doubt it would matter if there was a 2nd basket. The occupied basket is much more appealing than the empty one, in my experience...

  6. They don't each have a basket? I'd say Wylla is determined if one considers Charlene's size ;)

  7. LOLOLOL! Oh, kitties. Always wanting what the other one has. Not so different from wee humans, are they?

  8. My two cats each got a present from my sister and brother-in-law. Gregory, of course, only wanted to play with Bessie's new toys, not his own.Typical!

  10. Notice the new mousie already abandoned and thrown off to the side.. :) Someone else had something fun, must investigate.
Mine were all pretty cranky by the afternoon, and I managed to get them all tucked into their new fleece blanket for an afternoon nap. Just like little kids..

    1. LG got a new tent-bed from my sis-in-law. It came in its own big envelope package, and he claimed the package as his right away. He spent a lot of time sitting on the envelope before it was opened. Since the tent-bed has been liberated from the envelope, he's sat in a discarded, tissue-lined sweater box, on the tree skirt, and on various pieces of furniture. The tent-bed? Not so much. Hoping that at some point he'll warm to it and I can send auntie a nice pic of him in it. He *did* swat at it some the other day, so there's that...
