Wylla has started taking her post-meal naps in a vertical position. I think she figured out it feels better and helps with digestion, too. It's hard for her to go too deep into sleep in this position, if her body buckles it jars her awake, but it works for light napping.
How sweet! She looks so big now too. I know she's still a mini-kitty and probably will always be, but she looks like she has her adult face now.
ReplyDeletelove that one eye cracked....just in case
ReplyDeleteIs there a way to teach her she can lean against things? Sweet, smart little angel. -darin
ReplyDeleteI've tried, but I think she'll have to figure it out on her own.
DeleteP.S. Glad we're making eye contact again. :-) -darin
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. KILLIING me. :)
ReplyDeleteLoving the tail curl! May we assume this post bath?
ReplyDeleteYes.
DeleteAlso loving the tail curl, and the body sway, and the floof swirl. In this pose, she would make a lovely subject for an impressionist painting.
DeleteWylla, I sleep sit at sofa too!
ReplyDeleteI do that all the time in front of the tv. :-)
DeleteMy 6 year old does this at night after dinner when I haven't quite gotten ready for bed yet and he's unwilling to commit to a sleeping spot on the bed until I lie down. It is quite adorable.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetheart. It hurts my heart that she has to do this, but I know it's necessary. She's a precious little thing.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful sequence -- she is SUCH a darling girl!
ReplyDeleteyou are such a sweetheart wylla. you have learned well to adapt to your medical condition. you are one brave girl.
ReplyDeleteeeeeeeeeeeeee so cute!
ReplyDeleteShe's not just beautiful - she's smart, too! She'll figure out the leaning part on her own, I'll bet.
ReplyDeleteAnd great view of her patchy pajamas. :}
ReplyDeleteShe's just entirely too adorable!
ReplyDeleteMaybe she needs a Temple Grandin-style "cattle gate" -- i.e., a Wylla-size cranny.
ReplyDeleteomg...!! that would be sooooooo adorable!
Deleteomg...!! that would be soooooo adorable!
DeleteShe'll eventually figure out the corner of a chair or divan will make it more comfy ;)
