I know little Wylla probably never has the joy of a slightly distended belly from gobbling down half a can of wilderness salmon- I always feel touched by her trust that Laurie will provide just what she needs, Maybe one day....
Sounds like my cat, Sam, at breakfast and supper time. "Feed me, Mommy, or I'll collapse and die from starvation in 1.2 milliseconds! I'm soooooo hungry here! I haven't been fed since the fall of Rome--no, since the discovery of fire! FEED ME NAO!"
If any of you haven't seen the "Sad Cat Diaries" you should look it up on YouTube. There is a great line about a cat being starved because breakfast is late by 5 minutes. Wylla could probably do that part of the video
She is just the cutest thing. Her meows and chirps and trills are so ~expressive~ and then there's that little face and her two-tone front paws and her overall floofiness .. Wylla is amazing.
"Mom... WHY are you just standing there with that silly camera, when you KNOW that I'm about to DIE from STARVATION?? Breakfast, please, and NOW!"
ReplyDeleteSilly little girl..
Aww, Wylla. I love talk-y kitties.
ReplyDelete"Don't you love me anymore? I'm practically floof and bones!"
ReplyDeleteSilly, chatty Wylla
That Aria could be longer and louder! She can have lessons from Sprite (aka Beverly Sills at 5am EST).

ReplyDeleteWylla sounds just like a baby crying when it's hungry.

Mommmmmm I'm starving here...... what does one have to do to get some food over here.
ReplyDeleteI don't always meow, but when I do, I meow for food.
ReplyDeleteStay hungry, my friend. :-)
DeleteThose are the sweetest sounding meows ever!
ReplyDeletePOOR LITTLE MUFFIN!!
ReplyDeletePIT-I-FULL! So silly.

Poor baby. :)
ReplyDeleteI have to wonder if Miss Wylla has some Norwegian Forest Cat in her... she behaves & sounds just like my Weegie!
ReplyDeleteI agree about the Norwegian Forest Cat- she is sooo similar to my dear rainbow bridge special needs girl, chloe!
DeleteMommmmm!!!! Please put down the camera and feed me :) I'm cuter when I am full...Wylla sounds so cute and squeaky!

ReplyDeleteOh my, more adorable Wylla!
ReplyDeleteMy Buddy boy "sings" for his breakfast many mornings about 6 am. He uses every meow in his kitty vocabulary, and meows in many different pitches.
I've actually never seen him do it, just hear him. I so wish he'd sing when I was in the same room so I could try to get a video of it.
Buddy and Tiger's Mom
Oh my goodness, Wylla you are so adorable.
ReplyDeleteDoes Charlene ever get going at the same time? I can resist when one of my girls starts howling at me, but I usually cave after an extended duet.
ReplyDeleteNot usually. Charlene yells to wake us for breakfast, but waits quietly while I am preparing it.
ReplyDeleteLove the flicky tail... not only is she hungry, she's irritated with the lack of service.
