This is what we call the "super flop". It's very dramatic, and it happens when Wylla is absolutely convinced that it's time for another meal, but we are ignoring her pleas.
I haven't had a meal in over an hour. I am so weak with hunger, I can no longer stand. Help me. Help me, pleeeeeaaaaaaaase.
It's ridiculous. Even Bean thinks so.
Ridiculously cute, that is!!
ReplyDeleteSo funny! One of our cats does that sort of thing, too--I think it hurts his pride when I laugh at him, but I really can't help it.
ReplyDeleteCats can certainly indulge in over-dramatics, can't they? It looks like Wylla has learned to crank up her Inner Diva when it's time to eat (whether the humans agree with her or not)!
ReplyDeleteThis is just toooo funny. Is it accompanied by wailing lamentations? That's what happens at our house when dinnertime does not come about soon enough for their liking.
ReplyDeleteRabbits tend to flop suddenly just because...
ReplyDeleteWe call it a tartiflect! Our little fuzzy balls of purring do them to get our attention. :-D
ReplyDeleteSprite sings opera arias off key(on the sharp side) LOUDLY at 5am while Reilly thinks he is a Fab Drummer on the mirror on the closet door. Every sticking morning! They have not done the Super Flop...kinda wish they would....
ReplyDeleteAnd in Wylla's defense, aren't you begging her to put on some weight??? Think the fud molecules manifest in thin air? Wylla knows better than that.
What is it with the mirror drumming?? We used to have a mirror that was bolted to the back of our dresser and stood off the wall a tad. One of ours would drum on the mirror constantly, which would then make it thud against the wall as he did it. Oh, I don't miss that mirror.....
DeleteI do not know what you are thinking! Wylla so needs a dramatic flop when she doesn't get fed on time according to her clock. My cat, Kiefer, grabs my glasses and tries to eat them so a dramatic flop is nothing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a (floofy and adorable) little drama queen. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy Tiger is throwing one of his food tantrums right now. Dinner's not for another half hour yet. He looks at me with his huge gold eyes and does his cutest kitten meow! Poor starving boy!
ReplyDeleteBuddy and Tiger's Mom
Fed both boys and - - - they played the finicky card! Half Tiger's dinner is back in the fridge.
DeleteBuddy and Tiger's Mom
Just feed that poor starving baby! LOL What a cutie. How can you resist that face??
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteRidiculous but adorable. ;)
ReplyDeleteShe's a true tortie, isn't she [g].
ReplyDeleteWhat a face! My parents two cats aren't so dramatic, they prefer to sit and stare intently at my father nearly an hour before dinner. It's pretty funny to watch.
ReplyDeleteSooo cute! her fur looks freshly bathed & extra adorably soft & floofy!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Another great favorite of ours is when they start to make a huge, "pathetic" meow and a yawn overtakes them just as they do it. Too funny/cute!
