In just a couple of weeks, the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee book is going to be hitting the shelves! In honor of this occasion, we're going to throw a little party and you are all invited!
Our human and feline friends at King's Books are hosting the event on Tuesday, March 11th from 7:00 - 9:00 PM.
We've already had RSVPs from many of the families who have adopted our kittens, so it's kind of a reunion, too! We are so excited to see them again!
OH, and Wylla Stout will be stepping out and joining us at the party, so if you come by, you'll have a chance to see her in REALITY! She's even CUTER in person!!
I'm sorry, but Charlene won't be attending. She hates car rides and is a bit socially awkward, so this party would be too much for her. She will be there in spirit, I am sure.
If you'll be joining us, please visit the Facebook event page and RSVP or send us an email.
We'll be collecting pet food donations for the our Humane Society's Emergency Pet Food Bank, so if you're able to, please bring along a can or bag of pet food (or two) to the party.
We're so very excited, and look forward to meeting (hopefully) many of you in person on March 11th!
YAY! This is going to be FUN!
I am so excited! I preordered my books and I hope they come by Tuesday. I hope we can make it. If not, post a bunch of pictures of you with all the book lovers!
ReplyDeleteJust sent a Materials Request to my local library for them to order this! (ONLY the highest-rated large library system in the country, tyvm.)
ReplyDelete(Should have done this long ago! Am sorry. Hopefully better late than never.)
(And they have your new Paper Flowers book already on order. So YAY to that too :). )
It's already on my Amazon wish list! :D
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteI always love playing with the idea of if you could go back in time, four or five years, or whatever it's been, and tell *that* Laurie, "You know, the funniest thing is going to happen by you fostering that one litter of kittens. You're going to have a blog followed by people all around the world, you'll be a published author, and oh, yeah, you're gonna raise a $200,000 or so for the humane society. No, really!"
I preordered a copy for me and one for my mother through Amazon, and I can hardly to get them! I hope to get to the launch party, too.
ReplyDeleteI ordered my book from Amazon the first day you announced. I wish I could fly across the country to meet Miss Wylla but i cannot so please take lots of pictures, she is such a natural model!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!

I SOOO much wish I could be there in person, it sounds like a WONDERFUL time!! Congratulations Laurie, I can't wait to get my hands on the IBKC book.. I'd love to meet Wee Wylla in person...too bad I'm in the opposite corner of the USA :(
ReplyDeleteAlso offering my concatulations from across the country and hoping to see lots of happy-snaps of the event.
ReplyDeletep.s. to Charlene: LG, who detests car rides and is a bit socially awkward himself, says that he understands completely.
will you and Wylla be autographing the books?
ReplyDeleteI wish I could be there in person, but I live on the East Coast, so I guess I'll have to attend in spirit.
ReplyDeleteOoh, the book! Off to Amazon to purchase my copy. Best wishes for a fabulous event. Don't let anyone sneeze on our dear Wylla. Can't wait to see the pix. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the book - that must have been a ton of work! I do hope you take a group photo of all your adopter parents! Would love to hear update on the Fosters. Again, I too will miss this as I am in CT about to have our 3rd Polar Vortex this year....here the heck is Spring????
ReplyDeleteI'll be there! I'm excited to see the Wee One in person :)
ReplyDeleteI would SO be there if I lived closer. Hugs and congratulations, Laurie! And of course scratches to lovely Bean and Wylla.
ReplyDeleteLove the comment that Bean is a little socially awkward ! Most of my cats (from history to current) have been "socially awkward". I had only one cat that would travel with me. Love Wylla and her cute face!
