Yesterday, I blended up Wylla's lunch, filled her bowl, and took a phone call. Well, I guess her that bowl didn't fill her belly, because while I was distracted with my call, she climbed up on the counter looking for more, and found the leftovers.
I had left the lid off the tall, narrow container I use for mixing her food, so she stuck her head right in and lapped up the remains.
What a mess! She had food all over her face, neck, and head. It was on her whiskers and in her ear hair, too.
She bathed herself for a few minutes, then Bean came to her complete the task.

Here are a few mid-bath shots of our filthy, happy girl.
Made me smile. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! She's lucky she's got Bean to help her out. :)
ReplyDeleteawww - it is hard to be floofy and hungry :)
ReplyDeleteI'll bet Bean enjoyed that bath, too!
ReplyDeleteHow nice it is that you can at least trust her to eat standing up without supervision, even if she did get a little carried away...
ReplyDeleteI've always said I have a soft heart for little Wylla never being able to have the happiness of eating to her heart's content. I hope it stayed down and she took a loooong nap. I love you, tiny Wylla. I hope you loved every second of it.
ReplyDeleteHa! Oh, Wylla. I bet Bean found that bath to be particularly tasty.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the time I left a mostly empty pint of ice cream unattended and came back to find Scarlett with her head completely inside the container, licking the bottom.
Silly Wylla but hungry kitten. Maybe a growth spurt is coming? >^..^< ♡
ReplyDeleteLaurie, what is that goo you feed her?
ReplyDeleteShe eats a wet cat food, but it's blended into a smoothie.
DeleteOh my, what a silly, and sweet, little mush-mouth she is.
ReplyDeleteYay for Wylla's big appetite!! :}
ReplyDeleteWylla says "If I fits, I licks!" :)
ReplyDeleteawwww! and it all stayed down, yes?
ReplyDeletewhen my aodhan was failing in the fall of 2012, he loved newman's own food pureed with a kitchen aid stick blender until it was like mousse <3
