This will always be a special little pair- kind of symbolic of everything going to back to normal. I hope they have a wonderful, long life and that we get to see updates. Good job, Bean and Wylla, on your first joint venture! I know there will be many more. I'll just enjoy these last few moments with them all together.
That is just what I was thinking....bittersweet! IBKC is back to fostering with two lovely foster-sisters now presiding. Can't wait to hear about Effie & Hazel's new home.
Awww...look at how they've grown and thrived with your help and Bean and Wylla's! You said 'departure tale' so I presume they are going home together as you intended. Yayay! :)
Aww! Little Effie is putting a first class whipping on that bad ole mouse! And there is nothing cuter than a pre-pounce kitten butt wiggle, IMO. You all did a fantastic job preparing these two for their forever home!
Even though they are fosters, it will be so sad to see them go....I would love to be able to do what you do, but I am afraid I would end up keeping every batch of kittens...you are remarkable for doing what you do.
Effie, mighty huntress extradordinare! You whooped that mousie but good! Hazel, I know that long, thin, fur-covered thing looks really, really tempting to pounce on and bite and kill, and if--no, when you do, please bite gentle. It's attached to your sister and neither of you will like it if you're not gentle. ;D Fantabulous job with these two, Laurie. Absolutely adorable and irresistably appealing.
You've done an amazing job taking care or these kitties. I feel so sad for you that they're going home, but I know that you're prepared for it. They are so adorable, wish that I could keep them!

Aww.... so soon! It's been so fun watching Wylla learn to deal with kittens - I'm looking forward to more!

ReplyDeleteWow, Effie's points have really filled in. Also she's giving that rattle mouse pure heck!
ReplyDeleteWylla may need to keep a close eye on that rattle mouse or it may end up secretly packed up with Effie's going-home bag.
