The handsome tabby on top is Seymour. The beautiful tabby below is Toni. Both are available for adoption, so if you're tempted, please send me a message, and I'll connect you.
We're having a really great day today, and we've raised over $9000 for the sweet senior cats at the shelter.
Well done, community. Well done.
I've been teary all morning thinking about all the good that this will do.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
And thanks to Marguerite for capturing these beautiful photos of the special cats.
To quote dear Shana, I love them.
ReplyDeleteadopt a senior kitty, they'll steal your heart!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteSeymour looks like my 18 year old Tori :) She has been my shadow and companion kitty for years. Hope these two sweeties find loving homes!
ReplyDeleteAww, such lovely cats.
ReplyDeleteSomehow I forgot to put a comment on my donation, but I don't want to let today go by without saying it was in memory of my Sapphire (14) who I had to say goodbye to in January. My jewel of a cat, you are missed.
She was 8 when I brought her home and we had several lovely years together. Older cats are awesome. I can't recommend them highly enough.
What a pair of lovely tabbies. If I wasn't already living with an insanely jealous tabby, I would snap them up in a heart-beat. But alas, Ari Gato is adamant about not sharing me.
ReplyDeleteSeymour & Toni are two of the sweetest seniors I've ever met. Handsome Seymour was adopted (great news) but returned quickly when his new family decided they didn't want a senior kitty. We were all devastated when he came back.
ReplyDeleteBut we haven't given up ~ we know his purrfect home is out there.
Thanks, Laurie, for sharing their photos and stories.
I want to give these two gorgeous furbabies lots of hugs and cuddles! Senior kitties are awesome.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful kitties! I so miss my senior girls, Sammy and Coco (who've crossed over the bridge). Senior cats (and dogs) are such special creatures.
