A Milestone

Thanks to all who helped make Spay and Neuter Day a huge success!  Cynthia, thank you for offering up a such generous match, and thank you so much to everyone who made a donation and helped us meet it!    It was a great day, and we raised enough to spay or neuter 210 cats (over $7,000!) We also rolled passed the $60,000 mark!

Another wonderful thing happened yesterday, something I'm quite proud of us for, in fact.  In our six years of fundraising, donations from the IBKC community now total over $400,000.

$400,000!  That's quite a milestone!

Isn't that phenomenal?   When I think about how how much that is, how many who gave, how far that much goes, and all the many good things that have happened because of it, well, it kind of blows my mind.  All of these gifts from thousands of compassionate, kitty-loving people in our community have been given to our shelter to make a better life for homeless cats and kittens.   Thank you to every single one of you who played a part in this.

Please pat yourselves on the back. You are awesome. You're making good things happen.  You are providing a shelter with the resources to make many positive changes.

Thank you for stepping forward and showing that you care.

So,  if someone asks you what you did today, proudly tell them "I helped raise $400,000 for homeless cats and kittens".
