I returned home in the wee hours of the morning on Sunday and got a very warm greeting from my two favorite cats. Though I had plenty of kitty company with Nigel and Mimsey, I missed my girls deeply, and was so happy to be back with them again.
I think they missed me too. All day Sunday, they kept close. We shared a few naps, and enjoyed a beautiful fall day.
It's good to be back.
I've got a lot on my plate at the moment, so I won't be racing down to the shelter to pick up a new batch, but it won't be too much longer before we restock on kittens.
Now that I'm home, blogging will return to it's normal schedule, and we'll be more active again on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, too.
Thank you so much for your patience while I was away!
We all welcome you home!
ReplyDeleteYes. We certainly do.

Welcome back Laurie! And I am sure Bean and Wylla greeted you properly on your return! Anytime I go away, I get anxious to get back home and snuggle my babies, which is why I don't leave them too often!
ReplyDeleteGlad to have you back. Glad to know the girls still love you after your vacation. Looking forward to more babies.
ReplyDeleteDon't you wish kitties could Skype? I do. I'm glad you are home and back to blogging. Wylla really matches the fall colors and looks glorious. I always figure my cats think whenever I leave that I have gone to the vet to get checked because it is all they know. But Wylla is very different about that. She knows every trip isn't to the vet!
ReplyDeleteYou can Skype with cats, and I did!
DeleteWee Wylla seems to be thinking "Why would you ever go where I am not?"
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they did miss you. Last time I got home after a long trip they were even more of my shadow than before. I'm glad you had a great time and home safe.
ReplyDeleteHello, beautiful Wylla! I bet you are glad to have your mom back with you!
ReplyDeleteI bet they enjoyed all that Dad time, but I am glad they welcomed you back so nicely.
ReplyDeleteI think seeing a Kitty Skype session would be kind of fun. I will have to enjoy that mental image...or search YouTube.
On the other paw, I am pleased to see how happy the Frosts are with their lot in life.
Coming home again after traveling is always so good... especially when there are cats to greet you! Jo x
