Miss You, Midge!

Molly is new to the area, and a good friend of Jaimie and Ben, who adopted Sweet Evie.  She came to  the meet and greet when Jaimie and Ben picked their Kibblesmith, and was very, very tempted to adopt one of Evie's sisters, but thought the timing wasn't quite right yet.  She wanted to wait until after the first of the year, when life would settle down, and her cat Otis would be more adjusted to their new home. But when she saw those sweet Kibblesmiths, the seed was planted, and she knew she couldn't wait as long as she had hoped she would to adopt.

Shortly after the Von Tussles moved in,  Molly emailed to ask if she might be able to meet them.

And as soon as they were ready for visitors, she and Jaimie came for a meet and greet, and Midge was picked.

Midge left us a week ago Monday, and has settled nicely into her new life.  Otis, her new big brother, wasn't quite sure what to make of her at first, but now, he's quite happy to have a little sister.  He's even grooming her!

Molly is thrilled to have this playful, purring machine.

And we're so happy Midge found this wonderful home!

  8. I know that it's supposed to be a happy time when the kittens find their home but I always feel quite sad - they look so trusting and vulnerable heading out into the big world.

  13. Hooray for Midge! I'm happy she's in a good home and has a brother who's already accepted her. (Cats don't groom other cats they don't like.) I bet he's happy to have another cat around. I wish all three of them well.

  14. Yay for Midge! Otis will figure out soon enough exactly what younger sisters are good for: making mischief with and then blaming them for it when you're caught. >;D

  15. Sweet little Midge with her orange neck stripe- I'll always know who she is by that. I am so happy for her and her new family. It takes such a short period of time for these itty bitties to charm everyone in their new home- I'm sure she is delighted with her new life. Congratulations to her family!

  17. Midge looks so sweetly adventurous and pleased with her new medal. Knowing just how 'big' the medals are, I know just how small the IBK's still are!
