Here's a post from the past, and Wylla's first Halloween!
After one very wet week, we were blessed with a warm and sunny Friday afternoon, so we headed out to Picha Farms with Wylla to pick out some pumpkins.
Wylla is usually game to go anywhere, but her favorite destinations are outdoors - this outing was especially fun for her. She enjoyed climbing on the harvested pumpkins, walking between the cornstalks and rustling in the hay.
There were many varieties of and sizes of pumpkins and gourds to chose from.
These were our favorites - the "torties" of the pumpkin patch.
After much deliberation, we picked our pumpkins and headed home. We placed our selections on the porch, invited Charlene to join us outside, and the girls posed with the pumpkins.
Two beauties.
ReplyDeleteWylla looks like she's having an awesome time out there exploring. I'm curious, since Wylla likes to go outside, have you ever had problems with her trying to sneak out when the door is open or has she ever meowed at the door and reach up for the handle? Two of my cats who love the occasional trip to my front yard did things like that. Thankfully my mostly black cat is content to stay inside at all times. She's in her cat bed made of a box with a floofy pillow in it.
ReplyDeleteShe never really ever tries to sneak out.
DeleteLovely photos of your girls!
