If you happen to have a small black kitten climbing your sweater, yelling at you, and demanding to be held, there's a very good chance it's Wilma Lumpkin.
It's been a very long time since we've had a litter containing a black kitten, and I LOVE black kittens, so I was delighted to hear the news that this set of three would be our next batch. We're actually their second foster home. The teeny-tiny things first spent a week with Monica, who works at the HS. Monica always has a houseful, and often takes on those challenging bottle-feeders. She saw these three through those tough, early days, and we're quite grateful for that!
Wilma and Frienda are sisters, but wee Stewart is not related. He came in all by his lonesome, and got merged with the girls. If I wouldn't have been told that, I never would have guessed it. He certainly looks and acts like he belongs.
Welcome wee Lumpkins! We're so happy you're here, and look forward to watching you grow!
Awww, is that why the kitten's last name is Lumpkin? Because they were 'lumped' together? Sweet Steward is glad to have some sisters for pouncing and butt biting.
ReplyDeleteAw! If that's the reason then I just died from the cute. I adore all of these little Lumpkins!
