I can't believe it's December 11th, and I don't have a tree up, or a single holiday decoration hanging. It's been so hectic with seasonal craft stuff, I just haven't had a single second to dedicate to such matters. I have one big event this weekend, and once that's over, the boxes will come up from the basement, and I'll get cranking on the Christmas decorating. I honestly can't wait to get started, and make the house all shiny, sparkly, and festive.
The cats will be excited. They find the decorating process fascinating to watch, and of course all those boxes make they deliriously happy. The tissue paper is fun, too. Cats do love Christmas!
Of course, this year we won't have to fight to keep kittens out of the tree - I will miss that battle.
Ah yes, kittens and Christmas trees. Remember this magical moment with the talented Loudermilks beneath the tree? It was priceless.
I *do* remember that, although I may have been still in "read-only" mode at the time. Such talented kit-kats they are.
ReplyDeleteI'm also somewhat relieved to know that I'm not the only one who hasn't yet put up a tree or decorations. :-)
Just as cute on the millionth (or so) viewing as on the first!
ReplyDeleteI love this so much and look forward to it every Christmas!!! And remind us again which kitty is meowing along in the background?
ReplyDeleteSo sweet!
ReplyDeleteForgot about the "bat, bat, bat at the bell". Thanks!
ReplyDeleteOur 2 Maine Coons take turns sleeping under the tree. The bottom third is all unbreakables so fat kitty paws can't do too much damage.
Adorable--one of the best ibkc videos ever!
ReplyDeleteThat video has been reposted a lot! It is so adorable- the kittens just keep appearing. This year we put up a tree and we haven't put ornaments on. So far, so good.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what adorable kittens playing with the ornaments at their level!
ReplyDeleteMaking sure that those angels get their wings by ringing those bells.. :) Good little Loudermilks!
ReplyDeleteOMG Brought tears to my eyes....so so adorable. Your site and your kitties are so wonderful, Laurie.
ReplyDeleteI don't know where this December has gone... I have the tree up but no decorations. The lights up but no decorations around the house either! Presents are bought but cards are not sent. How can Christmas be in only two weeks!
ReplyDeleteCompletely understand. Ooh, Laurie, tell us again about the Christmas Kitten surprise. Do you have any updates? That's one of my favorite IBKC moments - well, one among many. :-)
ReplyDeleteI totally remember this one! How much fun to watch it again!
ReplyDeleteHow do you forget such fabulous musical stylings? *G*
ReplyDeleteYes!! How fun that was, and still is!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about this awesome website when the Loudermilks around, but this video makes me adore them just as much.
