Along with the photos, came this sweet note:
Hello Laurie, Well, we’re probably the absolute worst adoptive parents IBKC has ever seen when it comes to keeping in touch. Just wanted to drop a line to wish you and yours a Happy New Year.
We’ve attached some recent photos of the girls. As usual the pics aren’t great; we don’t always get the shot we think we’re getting, and we do spend A LOT of time laughing until we cry at their hijinks - instead of getting the shot of course. Super entertaining, beyond sweet, often sassy, and so beautiful; complete stress relievers. Can’t tell you how much we both love love love these two!
All the best,
Patrick, Wendy and the girls
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing all of these lovely photos and the update, Wendy and Patrick. It's wonderful seeing the girls again, and we're so happy to know they're bringing you so much happiness.
PS Because someone's going to ask, the felt cat caves came from these folks.
Hazel's freckles are killin' me here

ReplyDeleteThey look great! Any idea when you'll be able to take in new babies to foster?
ReplyDeleteI don't know when we can or when we will. i know everyone is always anxious for more kittens, but its going to be a while.
DeleteI love updates! What beautiful young ladies Effie and Hazel are now. To celebrate their upcoming birthday I treated myself to a look at all of their older posts. I had forgotten how teeny tiny they were when you first got them!

ReplyDeleteWhat a joyful treat! Hazel and Effie were such bedraggled, bereft looking little mites when they came to you and these photos show two healthy, happy girls. Yay!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely update! They are both gorgeous with such sleek coats and big eyes!
ReplyDeleteLovely young ladies!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for the update. I am glad hilarity is plentiful, though I am not surprised with these two.
After all the pictures of Wylla and Bean, Hazel and Effie look like Marine Corps buzzcut kitties.
