I took this portrait of Charlene a few months back. My intention was to use it for her Linkedin profile picture, so I was hoping to get a shot that showed she was "all business". You know, like a professional head shot.
A few clicks into setting up her Linkedin profile, I realized how completely ridiculous it was that I was considering making such a thing, so I abandoned the idea.
For now.
But I may revisit it one day. After all, we've got the perfect photo.
She is totally professional, and gorgeous! What a great picture! You know, you could make a living with your mad photographic skills, Laurie! :-)
ReplyDeleteShe would be lovely on a business card.
ReplyDeleteI'm all prepared to endorse Charlene's skillz!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beauty of a pic of a real beauty!
ReplyDeleteI would totally recommend this professional cat to any prospective employer on Linkedin looking for a skilled kitten finishing school professor.
I dunno, Laurie. I think she needs a LinkedIn Profile! And I want a link to her!
ReplyDeleteWhat an elegant photo of a beautiful cat! And I know there are a lot of people who would agree that Charlene is a true professional, particularly in kitten-wrangling and kitten finishing school. :)
ReplyDeleteLinked In would be honored to have Charlene!
ReplyDeleteAnd I would be honored to buy a card of this lovely girl in her headshot.
I can't think of a more professional cat than Ms. Butterbean.
ReplyDeleteI would love to add her to my nearly nonexistent network! Besides being beautiful, she'd boggle some of my other acquaintances.
ReplyDeleteAnd I remember that you filled out paperwork at the post office to make her able to get her own mail. Is this that different? :)
I love the idea of Charlene being on LinkedIn. I would absolutely add her to my network!
ReplyDeleteLinked In needs more cute. Go Charlene! Doesn't she need a way for people to contact her for spokescat and sponsorship opportunities? The catnip banana industry needs her.
ReplyDeleteA tremendous photo of a true professional!
ReplyDeleteBean has a FB page, a Twitter account, Instagram -- why not a LinkedIn profile? Heck don't forget Tumblr, about.me and other social media platforms. What's ridiculous about that? (Tho you're kinda asking the wrong crowd here...)
ReplyDeleteGiven her profession, would a photo of her peerless "stink eye" be more appropriate? OTOH that might limit her spokes cat / sponsorship opportunities that FoPo proposes, so never mind. No matter your choice, this is a grand head shot, indeed.
ReplyDeletePeggy
That is One Gorgeous Portrait of Miss Charlene Butterbean. If a dignified portrait of Her Bean-ness is ever needed, this definitely fits the bill.
ReplyDeleteIf only my LinkedIn photo looked so good!!! I would certainly connect to the remarkably talented Ms. Bean if she were out there :) She would have a huge network that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteI think she absolutely needs to be on LinkedIn. I don't know what they'll think about it, though!
ReplyDeleteIt's the perfect picture of Ms. Butterbean :-)
I'm going in for professional head shots this Friday. I'll use CB's photo as my inspiration. I only hope I can come within 50% of Bean's "all business."
ReplyDeleteWhile I don't know if the Bean needs a LinkedIn page (who's hiring?), a social media presence isn't that odd. Hey, if a corporation can resurrect Morris the finicky eater for a Twitter feed, why not a media image for the Bean?
ReplyDeleteOh, beautiful Charlene Butterbean! What a portrait of your gorgeousness!
ReplyDeleteElyse again- I know there is a Wylla magnet over in the IBKC store- would it be possible for this wonderful picture to be the corresponding Bean magnet? I would be proud to have these two wonderful ladies' picture/magnets on my refrigerator.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, maybe. I have a couple of other ideas that I want to do first.
DeleteI have a magnet of Charlene that's in a round dome shape and it's next to the new Wylla magnet on my refrigerator. I'd post a post a picture of them, but I don't know how to get an image into a comment like this.
Deletehaha, I love Charlene!
ReplyDeleteI know I'm all about Wylla because I've known her all of her life, but I do have to say that is the most wonderful picture of Charlene and it should be on the cover of Cat Fancy. Or People.
ReplyDeleteLooks totally professional to me! Better than MY photo! And yes I agree with Lynn that a magazine cover would be perfect. Wait a minute! What about Time's (fur) Person of the Year??!!
ReplyDeleteThat photo is absolutely STUNNING...really captures her essence and looks VERY professional !
ReplyDeleteThis photograph of Charlene should be hanging in the National Portrait Gallery!
ReplyDeleteGoodness, this IS the perfect portrait! <3
ReplyDeletei think it's an awesome idea for bean to have her own linked in page!
ReplyDeleteI would totally add Charlene as a contact! Just saying.
ReplyDeleteHoly moly!! What a spectacular photo of the Bean. I think with a photo like this Charlene simply *must* have a Linkedin account!!
ReplyDeleteIn this photo, Bean so resembles my dear mother-in-law in her official church directory portrait, it is uncanny. I would post the OCDP, so that you all could judge for yourselves, but I fear that would be disrespectful.
ReplyDeleteLaurie, if you could get Charlene to do an arm shelf I believe we'd have a 100% match with my dmil.
