As I've mentioned before, Wylla figured out that relaxing and napping in an upright position helps move the food to her belly, and offers some comfort on the days she's not feeling her best. It almost seems like she's meditating when she sits in this position - maybe in her own way, she is.
Awwww what a little beauty! She sure is a cutie!
ReplyDeleteGlad shes found a way to be comfortable....
So.. hard... to.... stay.... awake!
ReplyDeleteThat just brings little tears to my eyes. What a darling girl. Just her own little miracle cat.
ReplyDeleteMy heart breaks for her, or at least it did until someone yesterday said she doesn't know any different. She does what she has learned to do which is all she knows.... as long as she isn't in any pain, hopefully, she isn't. My heart still goes out to her.
ReplyDeleteI just love how when she's alert, she's wide eyed alert. But then is so dear when she starts to zone out before finally closing her eyes. What a doll. So happy she has found what works for her. And so happy to read about her little weight gain too - you go girl!

ReplyDeleteSweet Wylla! I like your pretty, fluffy coat; your ear tufts (I'm a sucker for ear tufts!); your long whiskers and your tail wrapped neatly around your paws! xo Wylla and Bean!
ReplyDeleteToo cute. I wonder if a hammock-type set up where one end was higher than the other would allow her to relax a bit more? I'm sure you've thought of similar things. Wylla's already determined her solution.
ReplyDeleteI’ve seen the videos of kittens and puppies taking tumbles while falling asleep sitting or standing up - our Wylla is *way* too Zen to ever do anything that unbecoming. Such a classy, darling girl.
