We're having the weirdest weather this winter. While the rest of the country has been getting clobbered with abnormal amounts of cold and snow, we've had the sunniest, driest winter I've ever experienced in my twenty-two years here in the Pacific Northwest. It's so strange to see so much blue, so little gray, and an absence of clouds.
I don't think I've ever had a cocktail on my deck in early March, but last night as the sun was sinking, we enjoyed a margarita OUTSIDE.
Of course the cats joined us on the deck. They've been loving this warmer weather too, and all of this awesome sunshine.
Both Wylla and Charlene looked to the sky and towards the chattering birds, and we all sat outside until the sun nearly disappeared.
It was glorious.
Oh, and this funny moment happened. I adore Wylla's cataloons, and, of course, the man behind the "mask".
Ahh! Warmth, sunshine, margaritas, cataloons, and wonderful humans! Life is good! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, e-zactly!!
DeleteNo way I could say it better so I'm not gonna try :)
It has been unusually warm here in Utah too.
ReplyDeleteCute pantaloons!
Would you mind sending a just teensy bit of that weather out our way (DC metro area)? Thanks ever so much. Actually, it's rather balmy here today, in comparison to recent temps. The snow and ice are melting, even. Niiiice.
ReplyDeleteConn. could also use the smallest bit of your weather. This is the 1st time since late Jan. we will be above 28. Love the Masked Furry Man! We call them "butt skirts" because when the Maine Coons sit on the floor, there is quite a spread of floof.
ReplyDeleteLove Wylla's patchwork boots -- they are a perfect match with her cataloon chaps !! -- her coat of many colours is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a Tucson evening in Tacoma! Good for you!
ReplyDeleteSimply delightful :)
ReplyDelete"cataloons" oh, I LOVE that. I call them "fluffy-toks" but I may like that better, because I can shorten it to loon, which, honestly, is what my little Bisse is a lot of the time.
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm so envious of your sunshine and warmth!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting. Wylla has apparently volunteered her tail as furry sunglasses for Craig.
ReplyDeleteEnvious envious of sitting on the deck!
ReplyDeleteVery cute funny pix! Almost close to being a Davey Crockett hat!!
Wylla, you floofy, floofy girl!
ReplyDeleteWe ladies (feline included) sure do love a man in a mask!
ReplyDeleteHello, beautiful floofy Wylla and Charlene! I smiled when I saw the picture of Wylla brushing her person's face with her tail! Those are purr-riffic cataloons :)
ReplyDeleteI have taken a photo of my cat from the exact angle in photo 7. My hubby looked at the photo of Shadow and exclaimed where's his ear?!?! So that became the title of that scrapbook page. Thanks for the reminder of the funny memory!! Love the seams on the back of her legs!!
ReplyDeleteMOL my fav is da last photo !
ReplyDeleteAnd all look fabulous :)
Took me a sec to understand the last photo there! LOL. Nice cat too! My cat has been learning so many tricks with the bird catcher pro. Great exercise for a good weather like this. Got the link for you.

I was out in your area last week (live in South Dakota but work from home for a firm out of Tacoma) and everyone here is delighted I brought back that lovely Tacoma weather home with me to South Dakota! We're in the 60s here now, even working at times with the windows open!
ReplyDeleteDo Wylla and Charlene stay on the deck on their own, or do you have harnesses or something on them? I just know my cat would run if she didn't have a harness and was outside, and I've been wondering about that with these two for a while.
ReplyDeleteThey stay up there on their own. If they make their way towards the steps, we'll holler and they'll stop.
