If you walked by our house at about 8:05 this morning, you would have seen a lovely scene. There were two big cats on the windowsill soaking in the sunshine with three little kittens.
They were all happy, warm, and recently fed. If you're a cat, it doesn't get much better than this.
And if you're a human watching this sweet moment, it doesn't get much better than this.
It was a good morning.
Do you need a live-in kitten nanny? I feel like I could really contribute to the household with my kitten wrangling.
ReplyDeleteNow there's your family portrait.
ReplyDeleteA virtual walk for me -- thanks Laurie for posting and thanks cats and kittens for making another "happy smile" day for me.
ReplyDeletePS: Glad the sun is shining in Tacoma -- for the last month it has been cold, foggy and windy in SF.
Please shoot some of that cold and foggy down I-80 to the east to Sacramento. It's been a little cooler than usual, but still too warm for me!

I believe that's Trixie's sun salutation in pic #3. And look at the sun shining through the ears in pic #4. Awww.
ReplyDeletePS: It's also dreary in NoVa, if that helps any.
This post is my new "happy place" because nothing is better than cats & kittens in the sunshine unless they are all on your lap.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say to these pictures is, DAWWWWW! That is all. Carry on. :-)
ReplyDeletewe bet your neighbors love walking by your house - what a great way to start a day :)
ReplyDeleteHands down the best curb appeal in your neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteIf I lived near you, I'd bring a lawn chair and sit in your front yard facing the window. You know I'm not kidding on that one.
ReplyDeleteThey all look like glam squad kitteh cats, esp. bean and wylla of course the itty bitty ones are so dadblasted cute..it certainly doesn't get any better than this!
ReplyDeleteAdorableness!!
ReplyDeleteHappiness! Great pictures. Made my heart sing
ReplyDeleteThank you for such a wonderful post.
ReplyDeletePut a huge smile on my face.
BTW, did you know that today is "Hug Your Cat Day"?
Buddy, Tiger and Mr. Mistofelees' Mom
I love how one of them is clearly getting verrrry interested in Bean's tail. And Myron is just staring at Wyla in mild confusion!
ReplyDeleteIf I lived in your area, I would be checking your window every day several times a day!! They are all just lovely
ReplyDeleteIsn't that great that you can call Wylla a "big" cat? Those kittens make her look absolutely huge! It's also nice to know that she's learned good kitten mentoring skills from Charlene. I was so afraid that she might be one of those chronic hissy fit cats any time a newbie comes into the house and that you'd not be able to take in kittens any longer.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, it IS Hug Your Cat Day. Be sure to dispense one for all of us as well. :)
awesome!
ReplyDeletelooks like Ramona (i think it's Ramona) is having a quiet girly chat with Wylla!
i would never go to work if i saw this in my window in the morning!
This is so very sweet! I am sending BIG hugs for Charlene and Wylla -- and gentle little hugs for the tiny, dear Clovers!
ReplyDeleteFull tummies, sunshine to soak up, and a world to watch. Joys and blisses supreme! *G* Lucky kitties! Someone looks rather interested in Bean's tail, and Trixie seems to be intent on catching something. There's nothing better than a clowder of content cats to put a smile on your face and a warmfuzzy feeling in your heart.
