Out of all the kittens we've hosted here, and there have been quite a few, Ramona Clover might just have the best purr.
He motor is almost always in a state of idle. In our quiet house, you can hear it from across a couple of rooms. She purrs when she's just sitting still doing nothing. She purrs when she's being wiggly. She purrs while she eats. She'll purr if you look her way, and if you pick her up, she revs it up, and it gets three times as loud.
I know that all of our little Clovers are happy things, but because Ramona Clover has the best motor, and she expresses her happiness best.
Nothing is more soothing than a well oiled kitten purr.
ReplyDeleteGood job, Ramona!
Keep on purring, Ramona! You know you hit the kitten jackpot, and that's why you're always purring, right?
ReplyDeleteWe need video of this monumental purr! Please? :)
ReplyDeleteOh yes!!!!!
DeleteYes, video! There is nothing more calming and lovely than the contented purr of a happy feline. Ramona knows she's got only the good life ahead!
DeleteOh, the kittenish purr. The first time I held a little orange boy, he purred so loud, I cooed, "Oh, you sound just like a Harley Davidson!" Within 15 minutes, he was mine. Harley Dude and his massive purr had a wonderful life with me for four years. I lost him young and still miss that magnificent motor (and the ridiculous personality of my Little Dude) every day.
DeleteRamona, keep purring. You're going to make someone very happy.
Yay, sweet Ramona! I am glad you always have a reason to PURR! xo xo xo xo xo xo xo
ReplyDeleteKitten purrs are the best!
ReplyDeleteAww... sweet!
ReplyDeleteI love this: "She'll purr if you look her way, and if you pick her up, she revs it up, and it gets three times as loud."
:) :) :)
Purring kittens are high on the list of the best things in this world. How fabulous Ramona's always so content and happy she's purring.
ReplyDeleteSquee! She is too cute.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're able to catch that on a video to share. Hooray kitten purrs!
ReplyDeleteMy Harley's motor is always running, too. In fact, that's one reason she's named "Harley."
