It was the perfect calm and quiet Sunday morning. Charlene was perched on the back of her favorite chair, in her favorite napping spot, with a belly full of breakfast, and was warming her whiskers in a sunbeam.
It was glorious.
But then little shadow named Ernest blocked her sunbeam.
And booped her nose.
It WAS the perfect calm and quiet Sunday morning.
They are so cute. Love them!!!
ReplyDeleteHa!
ReplyDeletelet the games begin :)
ReplyDeleteI consider being booped on the nose by a kitten as part of a perfect calm and quiet Sunday morning!
ReplyDeleteI love this! Great shots and story, as always, Laurie!
ReplyDeleteAww.
ReplyDeleteWhat is Sunday in the Sun without a nose bop? Really!
ReplyDeleteIt was so nice to see Charlene, she hardly seems to get a look in any more. Haven't been seeing that much of Whyla either. The kittens are so cute always but so are the big girls.
ReplyDeleteSoon Ernest will be in his forever home, Charlene, and you might miss the nose bops. Maybe.
ReplyDeleteCheeky boy! But I bet Ms. Bean will miss those nose boops!
ReplyDeleteAt least it was only Ernest and not the entire quartet of Plunketts!
ReplyDeleteCharlene gorgeous in the glorious sunbeam!
There can be no quiet, uninterrupted Perfect Moments when there is a kitten in the house. They have an internal RADAR to detect such things and come disrupt them in Adorable Kitten Ways. ;D
