After a very long day delivering, setting up, and breaking down florals for a huge event, I came home, slipped into my jammies, sprung the Plunketts from quarantine, and watched four joy-filled kittens running wild. They were so happy to be free!
After they had a chance to acquaint themselves with the main floor, I invited Wylla to come say hello. Here's the video of their very first meeting.
Listen carefully for Wylla's hello chirp around the nine second mark.
Please make note of the synchronized Halloween Cat moment that follows.
And I just love how Wylla drops to the floor after startling the kittens.
"See, kittens? I'm not that big and scary. I can be small, like you".
That was adorable! Wylla really looks good too! She has taken her kitten wrangling skills to a new level. I especially love how she tries to lure them to her with the tail action. And then when they don't want to get closer, she rolls over and walks away. She is a natural, and quite a gem!
ReplyDeleteWylla's so calm and considerate of their fears. What great teachers you have (and what a lot of floof in one place)!

Wondering how long it will take Vancie & Lucille to hang with floofy Wylla. Add in Beanie and that will be some explosion of floof-a-tude!
ReplyDeleteWylla seems especially intrigued by Lucille's floof. Can't wait to see if she gives her a new hairdo!
ReplyDeleteIs it weird to love someone else's cat, whom you've never even met? I just love Wylla. She is so sweet. Can't wait to see/hear how Bean reacts to them, too!
ReplyDeleteIf it is, then THOUSANDS of us are in the same boat!
DeleteI agree with KatBoxJanitor! I talk about the IBKC kitties AND the Love and Hisses kitties so much that he's starting to learn their names. :)
DeleteWylla is a good kitty. Charlene mentored her well. I love at the end when she plays with the toy and the kittens relax a bit.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, Bean chews kitten kibble in the background. "Wylla can handle the kids now. I can handle the chow!"
ReplyDeleteSo much cuteness in one room! How can you stand it?!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, love the little kitty on top of the box getting all puffy when Wylla comes on the scene!
ReplyDeleteShe is so good with them! Looks like she really wants to play but gets that she has to give them some time to get used to her. Go Wylla!
ReplyDeleteIt's as though they were saying: "Look, Miss Wylla, we can be floofy too!"
ReplyDeleteBean has taught her well!!! But that tail flap still shows she's a kitten! She wants to play with them!!!
ReplyDeleteI was really impressed when Wylla plopped down on the floor. What a clever girl! Vancie's silhouett is hilariously round. No shape at all! Haha.
