I'm getting tired of waiting for kittens. I wonder if there's anything I can do to speed up the process.
Surely there are kittens SOMEWHERE. Maybe I can find some online? You can find ANYTHING on the internet, right?
HEY WYLLA, COME HERE. I NEED YOUR HELP.
OK, I want to find us some kittens online. What should we google, Wylla?
I don't know, Bean. Let's try "foster kittens" and "Tacoma, Washington". Or maybe "Humane Society". That's where our kittens come from, right?
Sorry, Charlene, I'm on the Humane Society website, but I'm not seeing anything.
Keep scrolling. It's on there somewhere. Surely, there's a box to check or a form to submit. See if we can order four longhair tabby boys. No, no, I want some Siamese-y types -- we haven't had any of those in a long time. Or orange!! Do you see any orange ones? Or torties! You like torties!
Sorry, Bean. Nothing. It looks like they must be temporarily out of stock.
Wait, Wylla! We haven't tried Amazon, yet. Or Overstock!! Etsy??
Hee hee. Gail
ReplyDeletePoor girls! I'm SURE there are some out there. They're just on pre-order for now.
ReplyDeleteWell, "out of stock" is actually good, right? They will happen! I'm hoping for orange and siamesey ones.
ReplyDeleteHaha what a delight! We are anxious about some delicious kittens too, Bean!
ReplyDeleteWe feel your pain, Charlene. Though surely it's also GOOD that there are currently no homeless babies.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good thing. But don't worry girls, kitten season is fast approaching...
ReplyDeleteNice to see cats not knocking the laptop off the table...love the fact they are looking and know what type of kittens they prefer. I suppose it is good news that there are no kittens to foster...but I agree with Charlene - we need us some babies!
ReplyDeleteP.S. can one of them be named Alan Rickman?
RIP.
Ohhhh no. Not Severus Snape!
DeleteI second the request for a Rickman homage! And/or a nod to Bowie...
DeleteI love your picture stories! This one is perfect :)
ReplyDeletedon't worry ladies.....we bet it will be soon :)
ReplyDeleteso very cute! i love that Wylla is so computer litterate
ReplyDeleteMake sure you've got Safe Search on, girls! ;)
ReplyDeleteSuch hope in their expressions and then the disappointment that there are no kittens to be fostered yet...
ReplyDeletePoor Bean is lacking students.
ReplyDeleteIt is a good thing.
If some should become available I hope it's a nice little family of Sheldons.
Auntie Em
I know you are ready Bean, I know I am but it is really a good thing there are currently no kittens to foster. Please try to be patient. Kitten season will be here soon. And be sure to thank Wylla for her help.
