It's been three weeks since the Higgenbottom crew arrived on our doorstep. Chesley's always had some underlying tabby, and it's starting to surface more as she ages. The lighter parts are be coming whiter and she has some darker stripes coming in as well. Her ear lashes seem to be brighting and thickening a bit, too.
Though she's still ounces smaller than her brothers, she's been putting on weight and is now much thicker through her middle and her belly is looking pretty round.
We're thrilled Chesley and her brothers are healthy and growing so well, it means their chapter with us is going to be awfully short!
I can't get enough of Chesley's ear whiskers.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely ear whiskers! Sorry and glad at the same time that the Higgenbottoms are growing so fast!
ReplyDeleteShe's just darling. I really hope that whoever gets to take her home will send updates when she's fully grown so we can all see how these ear-lashes finally turn out.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE HER!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a kitten/cat with those white markings at the base of the ears...very unique!

ReplyDeleteCats are beautiful creatures -- and this one is especially so!
ReplyDeleteI hope Chesley's adoptive family share photos of her as she grows up. I'd love to see what her coat turns into when she's a grown-up kitty.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty color.
ReplyDeleteLOVE her white ear lashes!
