Though I know she was anxiously awaiting introductions with our adorable Higgenbottoms, dear Wylla managed to exercise great patience and self-control when the moment came. I love how she stayed on her perch and allowed them to discover her first.
The universe certainly knew what it was doing when it sent Wylla to you. She learned at the feet of the master, Charlene, and now that Charlene is semi-retired, she has taken over the kitten training with aplomb.
But Ma - I stayed put for a while because my perch is right in front of the heat!
ReplyDeleteLove how Chelsey thought about attacking Wylla's tail while Harold flirted with her!
Absolutely adorable! Wylla really is one special little girl.
ReplyDeleteGood job, Wylla!! My little Emma could use some diplomacy from you :)
ReplyDeleteI always forget how grown up Wylla is now until we see her with kittens! Such floof!

ReplyDeleteI just love The Emergence of the Kittens!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing Wylla interact with the kittens. I also hope Charlene's had a few licks of Harold.
ReplyDeleteYhe kittens are so confident!
ReplyDeleteGosh they are a confident wee bunch of kitties
ReplyDeleteWylla has more self-restraint than I expected!
ReplyDeleteI love how she eventually dropped her tail over the edge...great bit of suspense...
Will they pounce???
Look at Chesley with her tail straight up in the air saying, "I wanna meet you pretty lady!"
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, this bunch is bold as brass, isn't it? And bless Wylla, such a good big sister even when the wee ones are being so sassy.
ReplyDeleteChesley is so friendly! What a good girl!
ReplyDeleteYou -- and the babies -- are so fortunate to have two wonderful, patient "big sister" kitties to show the little ones the ropes.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this video! These kittens seem like a pretty bold bunch.
ReplyDeleteNoone floofed! Impressive, and as noted above, a confident bunch of kittens!
