One of our cats curls up and sleeps on top of the 'inset into the bathroom floor' heating vent where the hot air emerges when the furnace kicks on. Previous cat ( died aged 18 or 19) used to nap at the point where three heating vents met under the hall floor and the only rug in the house was always deliciously warm. Of the other two current felines; yes we replaced one old guy with 3 youngsters; not kittens, young cats from the local shelter, the other two; one has a strong preference for snoozing on top of a high pile of Silk Fabric I have folded up and 'put away'; obviously not 'away enough', while the other likes the hearth beside the gas fireplace because the tile finish acts as a heat sink. Cats are never stupid.
It seems these three are in competition for the silliest ear floofs! My 2 Maine Coons take turns sleeping in the hall outside the bathroom where the hot water pipes run under the carpet. It will be a cozy place this weekend in Ct. Minus 8 without the wind chill for Sunday am!
You didn't really shoo those adorable kitties away, did you? Maybe you need a second bath mat.
ReplyDeleteI had to! They're the same color as the mat and I could have squished them when I stepped out of the shower!
DeleteYou wait until they're done with the bath mat, and then you take your shower, of course. :)
DeleteI love the first two pictures. Chesley: "I love my brudder." "Well... most of the time."
ReplyDeletewhat kind of camera do you use??
ReplyDeleteNikon d 5100..
DeleteSo stinkin' cute!!! My kitty loves to be in the room when I am showering, three kitties would be a trifecta!
