I considered many ways to celebrate these milestones, and thought the best way to do this would be to take a look back at each kitten we've had the pleasure of hosting. I dug deep into the archives, and today I am presenting to you every single IBK from every single litter.
It was a sweet journey finding these photos. After all these years and all these litters, things are starting to get a bit blurry for me. It was good to visit them again and pause for a moment on each kitten and try to remember who they were and what made them special. It sure stirred up lots of great memories, and, of course, a few sad ones, too. We've been pretty fortunate over the years and we've had more good than bad, and when we've had some bad, it seems there was always a silver lining, a lesson to learn, or a new path to follow.
I hope you enjoy this trip back. This was your journey, too. You've been right here all along. rooting for our kittens, watching their stories unfold and waiting for their families to find their way to us. You cheer when they arrive, they cry when they leave -- just like they are yours.
Thank you for investing yourselves in this blog and the lives of our kittens, Knowing you're out there, supporting us in so many ways, is what keeps me going. We would never have made it this far without all of you, and for this I am so deeply grateful.
Thank you so much, dear ones.
Now let's celebrate all of these 203 kittens -- one by one, starting with the original IBKC and in chronological order !

Because we would break the Internet if I put all 203 cuties in one post, I had to break it up into two, to see 101 - 203, please click HERE!
WOW! All those adorable faces, all that floof, all those memories. I joined with the Bouviers and have loved every post since then. I do hope Drewey makes an apperance!
ReplyDeleteSo many sweet faces. I began reading 2 or 3 years ago, so the second post I'm sure include the kittens I can identify with! :)
ReplyDelete#50 Tressa Lovejoy still my favorite. Once I saw her, I went out and got my own two kitties (one being a calico!)
ReplyDeleteJerry Lee Pickett was the itty bitty who broke my heart.
ReplyDeleteSo true!
DeleteThey're all so very, very lovely! But oh that compact little Inez Davenport... And Lyle Livermore, with those big eyes! Haha. I also remember the purritos well. (I believe there was a shot of one of them in a robe pocket?) They're the ones that first brought me here! I'm sure they were a lot of work, between the bottlefeeding and being so tiny. But I bet you got new visitors in hordes after that post on cuteoverload!
ReplyDeleteSo very many adorable kittens and lovely memories...
ReplyDeleteLaughter and tears too.
I love to take these trips back, even when I have to get a kleenex.
I was introduced to your blog when the Lovejoys were in residence and I have enjoyed it ever since!
ReplyDeleteSo much cute! I can't even... :D
ReplyDeleteI've only been following for a couple years, so it's a treat to see the earlier kittens. Even with two separate posts, I think you broke the Internet: our work connection went down today :) but it was worth it!
ReplyDeletetruly I'm in itty bitty kitty heaven!!
