I had a feeling this was going to happen. They assumed because I've got a couple of extra digits, I would be a natural answering phones.
"They'll come in handy," they joked.
But that couldn't be further from the truth.
I'm all thumbs, actually. They're a hinderance, not a help.
I can't pick up the dang phone with these catcher's mitts.
I'm thinking I might be better suited for other tasks.
Like making biscuits.
I'm really good at making biscuits.
If you "knead" me, I'll be over here. Making biscuits.
OH DEAR, It looks like the little orange guy has abandoned his shift! Until we get this sorted out, maybe we should try making our tax-deductible donations HERE.
Don't forget, we've got an awesome matching donation challenge on the table right now! Every dollar you give will be matched by our Awesome Anonymous Donor today until we reach her very generous $5000 cap! Hooray! Twice as much for the cats and kittens!
hilarious! you are making my day!
ReplyDeleteLittle orange guy, you're doing awesome! When your shift is over, you should check out your polydactyl kitten cousin, Beatrix, at www.breakingcatnews.com! She's now their social media intern!
ReplyDeleteSuper Heroes in Orange don't answer phones! They tally up the donations!

So cute!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea, little orange guy. Biscuits can come in very, uh, handy at break time (sorry about the wording, it just came out that way).
ReplyDeleteThat carpet is practically begging for fresh biscuits. What 21st century kitten needs to know how to use a rotary phone anyway?
ReplyDeleteAwwww I just want to hug him and tell him it's OK that he can't answer phones! He is doing a great job with the biscuits!
