I love kittens at this stubbular phase... And the thumbs! I *heart* me a polydactil so hard.
I work as a cat sitter and one of 'my' cats, Basil (what a great name! pronounced like Basil of Fawtly Towers, not like the herb) has, fasten your seat belts, 2 1/4 extra toes on his front paws. They're like hippo feet! (designed to not sink in the mud.) It's a sight to behold, and I loff him. We sometimes take a nap together, spooning.
PS. I really thought you were going show how you put some kind of costume on one of your cats. Wylla, I'm sure, would totes tolerate it, considering that she gladly gladly wears sweatuhs. (The kittens might too—gotta start them early! Case in point Enzo, adorably, in Wylla's owl sweatuh.)
Heehee. Good job, Marigold!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love her! Sweet little orange girl.

ReplyDeleteLove the idea, Marigold! I say go with it.
ReplyDeleteI had an "aha!" moment this morning when I saw some marigolds at the store for Dia de los Muertos.
ReplyDeleteWell named, Laurie, as always! 'Tis the season!
Yep, you got it! Well done!
DeleteAnd thanks!
Love the name and the kitty!
ReplyDeleteGreat costume, Marigold! I'll have a big bag of cat treats ready in case you come trick or treating in my neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteLove those stubby little legs and mittens.

Wow, we have a cat named after Basil Fawlty as well! He earned that name because he was such a little goofball.
