Faux Friends
It always makes me laugh to see the big cats and kittens mingle with the cat pillows on the guest room bed. I don't know if they recognize these pillows as being cats, or not, but they do kind of treat them like members of their clowder -- they wrestle with, nestle with, and chew on them.
Don't they make one adorable, blended litter??
Shout out to our friends at Three Bad Seeds who created the adoralbe pillows!

The caption for my parents' 365 Cats Page-a-Day Calendar is perfect for today's post: "To a kitten, if it's not nailed down, bolted to the ceiling, or glued to the wall, it's a potential toy, says cat expert and author Pam Johnson-Bennet." XD The picture is of several kittens wrasslin' with one another (and one, inexplicably, fast asleep, right next to the wrasslers). Mose the Ear Nommer is one feerce little bear!
ReplyDeleteMose wants to really make sure this is a Faux Cat - CHOMP! I think it is the wool that attracts felines to attack/cuddle/chomp.
ReplyDeleteWell if they were any more precious I would just pop.
ReplyDeleteAdorable!! Love all the kitty ears.
ReplyDeleteDelightful!!!
ReplyDeleteIs it my imagination or does one of our Fishkin beauties have slightly more yellow eyes and the other slightly more green eyes?
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to their grown-up selves to know just how much cute twin appearance will remain!
Super stinking cute! Yum: cat ears dee-licious!
ReplyDeletei'm kinda liking the way you put "clowder" in there.
ReplyDeleteThe kittens are adorable -- especially against those lovely knitted pillows behind them! Just out of curiosity, where did those come from? I'd love to knit them for myself!
ReplyDeleteI think I found them at Target, but it was a while ago.
DeleteLittle munchkins - love 'em !!!
ReplyDeletePicture number 5 fascinates me. All those ears.
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable. We adopted two panthers 5-6 years ago, a boy and a girl. These two look so much like them (except for those skinny legs!).
