Thanks to their friend Lynda, The Darlings were introduced to a new game, "Bathtub Soccer". They spent the better part of yesterday morning chasing the ball around the tub.
This morning, they climbed back in for another scrimmage, but the game was called off early because of rain. (I had to shower)
Most fun with adult Maine Coons (tons and tons of toe floof makes for NO traction).

DeleteI've done this before as well.. When my two were new to the house, they were relegated to the spare bathroom at night. Unfortunately I left ping pong balls in the tub, and listened to very rigorous soccer games at 3am. :)

ReplyDeleteReminds me of my mother's cat. He took laziness to an art form. He would take one of his balls into the bathtub and lay down on the drain. He could bat it all he wanted while laying down, it would always come back to him.
