Giant / Tiny
Though there's no real need for Wylla to eat from her tiny table anymore, we still serve their meals there. I don't think we'll stop doing it.
I just like how giant she seems when she's next to the once-Wylla-sized furniture. It's a nice reminder of how far our little girl has come.
It's been two years and four months now that she's been better, so that means she's officially lived more days without her condition, Megaesophagus, than with. I love that we've passed this milestone. I hope that she's forgotten her sick days.
I took the photos above this morning. She was almost 3.5 months old in the photos below. She's three times as large as she was back then, but her expression still is the same. I don't think of kittens as having fully-formed personalities at that age, but when I think back to who she was back then, her personality really hasn't changed at all.
That's our same old Wylla. Just tinier.

I love the photos as a reminder of how far she's come. Such a beautiful girl
ReplyDeleteAlways a look of wonder in her eyes. Thanks for the After and Before shots.
ReplyDelete(giggles) She was so ridiculously cute! And she's a gorgeous lady now, of course. Very happy for her and for you at how she's thrived since her early days.
ReplyDeleteHoly smokes, she has enbiggified! What a majestic floofer she's become!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Wylla is such a pretty girl, and it's wonderful that she got over the Mega-E.
ReplyDeleteSweet girl.
ReplyDeleteBaby Wylla and her tiny furniture :) It's so wonderful to know she's been well longer than she was ill!
ReplyDeleteSalute to you for your wonderful care as Wylla grew and healed. And of course to Wylla for being her wondrous beautiful self.
ReplyDeleteMy sweet little godkitten! Smooches!
ReplyDeleteI love it when Wee Wylla pics come up on my screensaver - there are a lot of her amongst the almost 5000 (almost all your pics get added) - she is even a favourite of some colleagues who walk past!
ReplyDeleteI adore revisiting the wee table and buffet...and he stack of books as she grew and grew and still needed to be as vertical as possible.
ReplyDeleteYAY for beating the Mega-E beast!
Oh, how I love this kitty!
ReplyDeleteIt's been so much fun watching her grow up to be the big, strong ladycat she is!
