Guy Number Five!
Please say hi to number five!!! This little lynx point man is Oakley Fellows.
He's trying to be a brave kitten, and every single day he's getting a little better at it, but he still has his struggles.
When I gave them all their breakfast today, I said to Oakley, "Hey, you didn't hiss at me this morning!" And then he hissed at me --- but it was only a tiny half-hiss.
We are wearing him down and I do think soon we will have his trust.
In the meantime, my goodness, will you look at that adorable kitten.
Egads, little lad!
So, how do you like these Five Fellows? I think we may have hit the kitten jackpot once again! Lucky us!!

Dear Oatley, there is no real reason to still be hissing. The only threat you face is the amount of squees you will get from us. And maybe the amount of bathing from Miss Stout. You and your brothers are in a safe, loving place.
ReplyDeleteOh, he's gorgeous. I do believe that this group is indeed a kitten jackpot situation.
ReplyDeleteLynxie!! Best meezer flavor!
ReplyDeleteI have a lynx point old man (15) he's still CRAZY
ReplyDeleteA tabby/Siamese combo?! Staaaaap, I can't take it.
ReplyDeleteOh my lord. This is a SPECTACULAR batch. I love them!
ReplyDelete<3, K from MN
I want heeeeeeem! Too bad my other cats don't. :(
ReplyDeleteAre these going to be the FUNdraising bunch this year? Because with looks like they've got, you'll get TONS of support!
ReplyDeleteThey'll take on the first part, but there will be a shift change.
DeleteOakley!! You precious itty bitty, teeny hissy, lad.
ReplyDeleteOh, if this is the crew that will be manning the phones for the fundraiser this year, we're in some trouble. :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Oakley, there's no need to hiss or be scared--you're in the best foster home in the world.
ReplyDeleteHiz knitted muzzle powshes in the last pickie are soo excellent.
ReplyDeleteWhite face + black nose = instasquee!!!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like one of those cats who will grow up to have different markings, like Charlene.
How cute! He wants a cuddle but he's not sure how to ask. Once they settle in they're going to have lots of fun playing. I know the girls know what they're in for. :)
ReplyDeleteAww totally adorable and your skillful photography shows their best sides. A pleasant alternative to all the politics!
ReplyDeleteOk I only count 4...someone's missing.
ReplyDeleteThere are five: Robin, Seymour, Maurice, Emmet and Oakley.
DeleteIf could , I would take the trip across the Atlantic ocean , scop him up up into my loving hands . I would give him a home back in Norway . Maybe I could take him with me , one early morning , and spy a real Lynx in the woods close by . Unfortunately there's too many obstacles in my way , and I'll have to settle for updates as years go by ....
ReplyDeleteOh Oakley, you are da man. Ive had hissy boys become the bestest cuddlers and I am sure that's your fate too.
ReplyDeleteOh my...he is a cutie.
ReplyDeleteOmg this might be my favourite kitten in awhile (at least since Beau). i cant wait to see him grow into his fur!
ReplyDeleteHe's wearing a little halo!
