Hip, Hip! It's Chip!
Hello, Chip Waddell. (Wah-dell)
Aren't you just about the most adorable little thing we've ever seen? YOU ARE!
And what's going on with your little back side? Do you have a little bunny bum little your sister?
Why, yes! You do!
Chip's tail is just a tiny L-shaped bit -- you can barely see it, but you can feel it. He seems to navigate with more grace than Annabel but still has a little Waddell waddle and wobbles sometimes.
Otherwise, things seem to be functioning fine and he's a pretty normal little guy!
The day I came to the shelter to pick them up, all the Waddells were cuddled up in a bed in their cubby. The second I came towards them, Chip sprung up and lunged to the front of the cage --- all four paws in front of him and he landed in his bowl of kitten gruel. He still greets me with similar fervor when I enter their room.

One should always greet folks with fervor.
ReplyDeleteOMC these are tiny little bits of fluff, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteI appreciate being greeted with such enthusiasm. Lovely. and what a cute Waddell.
ReplyDeleteOh, my. I'm already in love the Waddells.
ReplyDeleteSo adorably stubbular.
ReplyDeleteThey may have some "Lynx or Bobcat" genes. Just makes them more adorable.
ReplyDeleteSo, so cute! How old the Waddells? I'm guessing five to six weeks, but it's only a guess...
ReplyDeleteAbout a month now.
DeleteThanks! So a bit younger than I guessed.
DeleteThey're so perfectly proportioned, it's hard to judge the scale.
DeleteHaha, now THAT'S a greeting! (The initial one, I mean... so cute/sweet)
ReplyDeleteChip - what a cutie you are! Already learning the ways into a human's heart by enthusiastic greetings. Did not know I was a sucker for Bunny Bums.
ReplyDeleteEnthusiasm is the way to go. Wonderful to meet you, Chip!
ReplyDeleteHoly Crow, he's an Ewok!
ReplyDeleteI never knew I needed a bunny bum kitteh until now! And that peeking tongue-too cute!
ReplyDeleteYep! Pretty much the cutest greeting ever!!!
ReplyDeleteI like how careful he is with that ball. It looks like he's practicing dribbling, like new soccer players do. So cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to figure out how it's possible that you had not already had a IBK named Chip.
ReplyDeleteIt's been on the list for a while.
